Strong Earthquakes in California Came After Magnetic Field Changes, Study Shows
Nature World News ^

Researchers who have been studying medium-sized to large strong earthquakes in California have found that the local magnetic field changes 2-3 days before an earthquake.

The researchers accessed magnetic field data from a collection of magnetometers at 125 sensor stations along significant faults in California in cooperation with the Google Accelerated Science team. They gathered information between 2005 and 2019, a period in which 19 earthquakes with a magnitude of 4.5 or higher struck the faults.

Their multi-station analysis took into account other types of processes, such as rush hour traffic, that might have an impact on the magnetometers but are unrelated to earthquakes. The biggest challenge in interpreting these data, according to Schneider, is distinguishing this type of noise from prospective earthquake-related signals. The researchers discovered a signal denoting magnetic field changes from 72 to 24 hours before the earthquakes after training their algorithms on 50% of the data set.

Surely we can find a white male to blame this on.

The Suspicious 0bservers site has covered this extensively - and has links to peer reviewed monographs.

Are they saying that the magnets in EVs cause earthquakes?

Very possibly. On a related note, did you know that sheep's bladders may be used to prevent earhtquakes?

We had a fair sized earthquake when we were living in San Diego around a 6.0. When I was leaving for work, my garage door opener opened every garage door in the block. I cycled it several times to make sure it wasn't a coincidence.

My guess is that the electromagnetic effects of the quake modulated the radio signal of my transmitter and it jumped over several frequencies. It was a Genie so it was a very common brand so we probably all had the same basic RF spectrum and code formats to deal with.

When I came home that evening, everything was back to normal.

How long before the quake was the garage door opener incident?

I used to listen to Jim Berkland guy on Art Bell, I always thought he was interesting even if most “scientists” said he was a Quack.

I was talking to a random Geologist and he said earthquakes were caused by Entropy ie temperature changes in the earth which also makes sense.

Dutchsinse talked about a guy who discovered some kind of electrical signature that would go on and off, but he didn’t know what it was.

It means then when the sun throws out severe. Solar winds and auroras ignite showing intense magnetic reactions, that the earth responds in time by shaking. Hummm, I think dutch was right!

The poles have been moving at increasing speed these past few years. GPS systems are having to be recalibrated every couple of weeks. Maybe we’re about due for a massive polar shift . . .

They’ll just say Climate Change causes the magnetic field changes.
