You might not know the name David Fravor, but you probably know what he saw … even if he’s still not sure what that was. Fravor is the retired U.S. Navy Commander who in 2017 told the New York Times that he spotted a Tic Tac-shaped UFO from the cockpit of his F/A-18F Super Hornet—“around 40 feet long and oval in shape”—100 miles off the coast of San Diego in 2004.
There’s video, of course, of Fravor’s now-legendary encounter, originally released for public viewing by The New York Times and To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science, a UFO research group from former Blink-182 member Tom DeLonge:

Off the East Coast they do a lot of shooting, at the time it was off Puerto Rico.”Cdr Fravor said the helicopter pilot’s job at the time of the incident in the “mid to late ‘90s” included retrieving BQM aerial target drones, which deploy a parachute and fall into the ocean, as well as submarine telemetry torpedoes that collect data before blowing ballast and floating to the surface.
Mebbe one of those old S-2 sub hunters was around dropping torpedos?

On Rogan’s show the pilot told a story of how he would sneak up on campers at night and light afterburners knowing that campers would call in a UFO sighting. Now the pilot has his own sightings.
It was a helicopter pilot, lowering a diver to retrieve a dummy torpedo. He saw some massive thing suck the test torp under the water.
