  • Fighter pilot says UFO he chased in 2004 committed 'act of war'

A former U.S. Navy fighter pilot spoke this month about what he says was an encounter with a “Tic Tac”-shaped UFO and believes the flying object committed an “act of war.” Retired Cmdr. David Fravor recalled the strange encounter off San Diego 16 years ago in a Sept. 8 podcast with MIT research scientist Lex Fridman. Fravor says he was dispatched to investigate radar anomalies and later described what he saw as "like nothing I've ever seen" – a Tic Tac-shaped object able to turn on a dime and make itself invisible to radar, New Zealand’s TV Channel 3 reported.

On September 5, 2020, Frankie Lucena pointed his video camera at a tropical wave passing just south of Puerto Rico, and he recorded some very impressive and huge Gigantic Jet lightning events and clusters of sprites. Interestingly, weaker systems often produce the strongest upward-directed lightning, that intensifying tropical waves have the most sprites before these systems become furious hurricanes. Once a storm becomes a hurricane, however, sprite activity seems to subside. Lucena has surveyed many passing hurricanes with relatively little success in catching sprites and Gigantic Jets. However, last month, he captured a very rare Type II Gigantic Jet event...

A former US Navy pilot is opening up about his infamous alleged UFO sighting off the coast of California in 2004. Commander David Fravor said he witnessed a Tic Tac-shaped object in the sky in November 10, 2004 performing extraordinary aerial maneuvers that he said no modern human technology was capable of. 'This is not like we saw it and it was gone or I saw lights in the sky and it's gone – we watched this thing on a crystal clear day with four trained observers,' Fravor said in a sit-down interview with Russian-American YouTuber and MIT researcher Lex...
  • Pentagon's UFO announcement is 'exciting,' raises 'controversies': expert

The Pentagon's announcement establishing a task force to "detect, analyze and catalog" unidentified aerial phenomena is a welcome addition in the now very public search for UFOs, albeit one with its own controversies, according to one expert. "I support this initiative, which rightly frames the issue in terms of security," Nick Pope, a former employee and UFO investigator for Britain's Ministry of Defense, said in an email to Fox News. "While there'll be debate about exactly what this entails -- mention of unauthorized aircraft making incursions into training ranges sounds relatively mundane -- UAP [unidentified aerial phenomena] is the official...

The Pentagon announced Friday that it is launching a task force to study unidentified flying objects after reports of sightings from service members. The Pentagon said in a statement that Deputy Defense Secretary David Norquist approved the establishment of an Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) Task Force (UAPTF), which will fall under the Navy. “The Department of Defense established the UAPTF to improve its understanding of, and gain insight into, the nature and origins of UAPs," the Pentagon said. "The mission of the task force is to detect, analyze and catalog UAPs that could potentially pose a threat to U.S. national...

UFOs have been back in the news because of videos initially leaked, and later confirmed, by the U.S. Navy and officially released by Pentagon that purportedly show "unidentified aerial phenomena" (UAP) in our skies. Speculations about their nature have run the gamut from mundane objects like birds or balloons to visitors from outer space. It’s difficult, if not impossible, to say what these actually are, however, without context. What happened before and after these video snippets? Were there any simultaneous observations from other instruments, or sightings by pilots? Judging the nature of these objects (and these seem to be “objects,”...
  • "Phobos” –Mars' Strange ‘Science-Fiction’ Moon May Hold Clues to Ancient Life

A mysterious origin and Arthur C. Clarke-level science-fiction speculation about the 17-mile-wide, deeply-grooved moon as an alien artifact captured in the ancient past by Mars gravitational field, may explain Russia’s almost mystical obsession with Phobos. First the Soviet Union, then more recently, Russia, made three attempts to reach the enigmatic object, but software errors and launch disasters have aborted each attempt. In 2016 the BBC reported that a mysterious monolith object was spotted several years ago by a NASA probe, and to this day nobody is quite sure what it is or how it got there. Japan is on deck,...

Thursday, July 12, 2018 More Democrats Believe in UFOs Than America Posted by Daniel Greenfield 58% of Democrats believe in UFOs, but only 32% are proud to be American. Only 37% of Republicans believe in flying saucers, but a full 80% are proud of their country. Almost twice as many Democrats are willing to believe in being abducted by space aliens than in their country. Hillary Clinton had promised that if elected, she would find out the truth about the little green men and suggested that the planet had already been visited by aliens. "Maybe we could have, like, a...

As we discussed last month, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence has released a bill which, if passed, would direct the Pentagon to get their act together on the UFOs our military has been chasing around in our airspace and issue a report on what’s going on and make it available to the public. The acting head of that committee is Florida Senator Marco Rubio, so he’s been receiving a lot of predictable media attention on this subject. From everything I’ve seen, Rubio has been taking the question in an admirably serious fashion and not ducking away from opportunities to...

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) pledged in an interview released Tuesday that he will tell the American public anything he learns about aliens or UFOs if elected president next year. In an appearance on the “Joe Rogan Experience,” Sanders was pressed about whether he would be open with the public about extraterrestrial knowledge if he takes the White House. “If you got into the office and you found out something about aliens, if you found out something about UFOs, would you let us know?” Rogan asked Sanders, who is seeking the Democratic nomination to take on President Trump. “Well I tell...

After a bombshell report detailing near-daily interactions with unidentified flying objects by Navy pilots in 2014 and 2015, Christopher Mellon has argued that this information is nothing new, and the government needs to do something about it. Mellon, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, is involved with a new History Channel series, 'Unidentified,' which will expand on topics discussed in a recent New York Times article. In numerous interviews, Navy pilots revealed that they saw UFOs moving at hypersonic speeds, performing acts “beyond the physical limits of a human crew,” and emitting "no visible engine or infrared exhaust...

You can add another voice from the media and education community to the growing list of military and government figures who are now talking about the potential realities of UFOs, no matter where they’re actually coming from. Daniel Drezner, a writer for the Washington Post, as well as a professor at Tufts University, tosses another log on the fire this week with a provocative proclamation. According to Drezner, we’ve hit the point where everyone needs to get used to the idea that we have things flitting around in our airspace that we can’t yet explain. He then dangles the bait...

The service has pledged to spend $750,000 to examine futuristic materials and technologies collected or studied by a group run by Blink-182's frontman. UFO truthers don’t typically hold a lot of credibility within the research community, but today the Defense Department is acknowledging at least one such group could have some serious contributions to make. The Army Combat Capabilities Development Command recently partnered with the To The Stars Academy to study a wide variety of different technologies and materials, most of which sound like they were pulled straight from a sci-fi movie. The cooperative research and development agreement is set...

The Pentagon’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force, a program they made an effort to characterize as no longer active, is not only very much still a government program, it’s a government expense, as outlined by the New York Times earlier this week. But there’s more than just a line item here, explains Popular Mechanics. The acronym/word UFO is trending on Google. In fact, it was the biggest search of the day on Friday. It continues to trend on social media and search into Saturday, and that’s thanks to an explosive quote from astrophysicist and former Pentagon consultant Eric W. Davis....

For over a decade, the program, now tucked inside the Office of Naval Intelligence, has discussed mysterious events in classified briefings. Despite Pentagon statements that it disbanded a once-covert program to investigate unidentified flying objects, the effort remains underway — renamed and tucked inside the Office of Naval Intelligence, where officials continue to study mystifying encounters between military pilots and unidentified aerial vehicles. Pentagon officials will not discuss the program, which is not classified but deals with classified matters. Yet it appeared last month in a Senate committee report outlining spending on the nation’s intelligence agencies for the coming year....

The Pentagon's once secret department that hunts and investigates UFOs has continued to operate over the past decade despite previous claims it was disbanded. The Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force has been tucked away inside the Office of Naval Intelligence, and is now being called on to reveal at least some of its findings to the public every six months, according to the New York Times. Information on mysterious encounters with unidentified aerial objects has formerly only been discussed in classified briefings, and Pentagon officials are still not at liberty to discuss the program, which deals with classified matters.

Scott C Waring, a self-proclaimed alien hunter who is currently operating from Taiwan has now released an eerie video that shows hundreds of UFOs hovering in the skies of California. Interestingly, this alleged UFO incident happened during broad daylight, and people who have shot the visuals can be seen trembling while capturing the footage. Did Aliens Pay a Visit to Earth? After analyzing the video, Waring strongly assured that these flying objects could be alien vessels that might have visited the earth from deep space. He added that this video is not fabricated, and it is authentic footage captured by...
