Wynn Resorts Adds Three Women to Board, Bringing It to 11 Members
Wall Street Journal ^ | Chris Kirkham and Maria Armental

Wynn Resorts Ltd. WYNN 0.45% added three women to its board as the company continues to manage the fallout from sexual-misconduct allegations against former Chief Executive Steve Wynn.

Disclosed on Wednesday, the move came a day after the casino operator’s largest shareholder, Mr. Wynn’s ex-wife Elaine Wynn, demanded the board overhaul its membership to comprise mostly new directors.

The new independent directors are Betsy Atkins, Dee Dee Myers and Wendy Webb, bringing the board’s current composition to four women and seven men. The company said the board approved the new directors at a meeting in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

If I ran the company, I’d put Weinstein on the Board - he understands the subject best.

And this is newsworthy, why?

Yup. I assume she never openly stated, as did many women, that Bill was cute. Otherwise, that could be used against her. OK, probably not.

Wagers on how long before they bankrupt the company.

For many reasons including a $2.5 billion project casino being erected outside Boston which has many implications. It is one of the largest such projects. Wynn also owns properties in multiple countries. There is ongoing debate as to the extent of the fallout. It is newsworthy and has been for weeks if not months. MGM is also in discussion as a possible suitor.

My first thought as well.

By the way, didn’t Mr. Wynn deny the allegations? Shouldn’t the plaintiff produce something more substantial than an accusation or bring up corroborating evidence?

It would seem so.

She’d certainly be a good asset in terms of knowing how to deal with sexual harassment issues stemming from your boss lol

Anytime a company hires a Democrat political operative, they go on my do-not-patronize list.

Women destroyed that company and man. The whores, the ex wife, the grifters who used their sex to get on the board.

In this day and age, if you are accused, you are guilty, period. There is a presumption of guilt and, largely because it devolves into a "she said, she said" argument, there's practically no way to prove otherwise.

I’ll never stay in one of their hotels again. If a company doesn’t believe in due process, it’s not one I patronize.

Well, I hope Dee Dee Myers isn’t the designated driver for the Board, given her DUI in San Francisco. Perhaps a drunk brings the wisdom of the world seen through the bottom of a shot glass to the Board.

“Wagers on how long before they bankrupt the company”

Wagers on how long before the women start complaining they feel “uncomfortable” around the men, and accuse them of “leering” and demanding big payouts.

If I traveled, and were gullible enough to frequent casinos, I'd know when ones to avoid. Thanks ConservativeStatement.
