Shouldn’t the plaintiff produce something more substantial than an accusation or bring up corroborating evidence?

In this day and age, if you are accused, you are guilty, period. There is a presumption of guilt and, largely because it devolves into a "she said, she said" argument, there's practically no way to prove otherwise.

I’ll never stay in one of their hotels again. If a company doesn’t believe in due process, it’s not one I patronize.
