San Francisco is experiencing a mass exodus as tens of thousands of residents leave the Bay Area while an influx of immigrants flood the sanctuary city, according to KPIX-TV.
Whats going on? For the first time in decades, more people are leaving San Francisco than there are new people moving to the city. The mass exodus has propelled the Bay Area to the nations leading city for out-migration.
One of the reasons for the exodus is the cost of living in San Francisco.
According to the Mercury News, the median price for homes in Silicon Valley fall anywhere between $800,000 to more than $1.4 million. Thats compared to the U.S. average of $206,000.
San Francisco has also become one of the most progressive cities in the nation over the last few decades, culturally and politically, meaning liberal policies rule the day. The city is also heavily taxed.

Correct. They will take their stupid politics and just soil another good place to live, making it uninhabitable.
Bump
Rather than San Francisco proper, the article is describing the greater San Francisco Bay area including areas miles and miles from SF.
If the Castro district within San Francisco would change from being a faggot neighborhood to a Polish neighborhood then the city would be much less detestable.
“At the end of the article, they admit that the inflow is slightly greater than the outflow.”
“The Bay Area” is a pretty big subject.
-San Francisco City and County
-Several cities and counties, spreading out dozens of miles north, south and east.
Reading an entire article titled how folks are leaving, only to learn in the end others are coming.
Most people in “The Bay Area” rarely go into “The City.”
Colin Flaherty often points out that this is done mostly to make the statistics look good. By making it difficult to file a police report, many crimes don't get reported, and crime rates go down. The measure of police success is low crime rates, so, this is just a good business practice for the cops.
I've heard that you should always look primarily at homicide rates if you want to know if crime is increasing or decreasing. Since the police pretty much have to take a police report when death is involved, it's much harder to fudge the numbers.
My sis works in advertising for a large national grocery chain.
Several of them in her dept made the move from SF to Boise a couple years ago.
Now THAT was culture change!
Politics there are 180 off each other
Let it stay a “sanctuary city,” taking in everyone no other city will take in, a magnet to all illegals, bad or even worse. Watch how the city, once a California jem, turns into a wasteland. So be it....
I don’t know about that. It seems that Carole Dabak, the person quoted as relocating to Tennessee started as a moderate who loved Frisco. Now she’s more conservative.
Does the rice of real estate reflect this?
rice = price
Truth. My family just sold my dad's old 1959, 3/2/2 rental house in San Jose for $700K. Didn't even bother to rehab it, and it was gone in one week.
The buyer was probably some schmuck fleeing San Francisco.
Lovely.
The guy who wrote those tweets offered the San Francisco cops a perfect opportunity to quickly arrest a car thief, and the cops declined. Makes you wonder what other requests for help they would decline.
That's why I don't encourage any of my relatives in California to move to Texas. They all vote 'rat.
Hey!! Who you callin’ a “nut”??
I object to the far left being called “progressive”, when their objectives are so REGRESSIVE!
Seems AZ already has too many leftists, as they crossed over and voted for McCain and Flake. ...All States, including my TX, should abandon the open primaries!
Kind of ironic that dog owners get fined if they let their pets pee/defecate in certain areas and for not picking up the poop, then say it’s fine for people to crap on the sidewalk....them liberal policies are finally getting bad enough to even offend the liberals....”You asked for it....you got it....crapola....
