Inside Knowledge About Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Could Lead To World-Changing Technology

Tom DeLonge...spent many years studying UFOs, and essentially left his previous lucrative career to devote himself to this pursuit, using his own personal income and resources to set up an entertainment company called To The Stars (TTS). It had the goal of disseminating information about UFOs, consciousness, the paranormal and other unexplained mysteries through artistic pursuits such as fiction and non-fiction books, feature films, and television productions.

Most importantly, while doing so, Tom was gradually able to establish relationships with flag officers and other highly placed insiders in the aerospace industry, intelligence, the Department of Defense and NASA. These independent sources provided him with information about the UFO phenomenon and worked with him to develop a plan for the incremental release of this information through TTS, which would be particularly geared towards reaching younger audiences.

...

Then, in late 2016, Wikileaks published a number of Tom’s emails to John Podesta, which revealed the names of some of these sources. Among his advisors were two generals: one was a commander of the U.S. Air Force’s research laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and responsible for managing the Air Force’s $2.2 billion science and technology program; the other was the Special Assistant to the Commander of Air Force Space Command at Peterson Air Force Base. As devastating as this was to some, it established for those who doubted him that Tom was indeed telling the truth about his high level contacts.

Tom’s plans for TTS were delayed at this point, but he persevered. Subsequent delays have been out of his control, but everyone involved agrees with the necessity for a gradual release of information.

“The fact is, we might not necessarily be alone,” Luis Elizondo says. “Now is the time to move forward and try to answer some of life’s deepest mysteries.”

That is my view—”they” have always been here and the “aliens from outer space” is disinformation—from them!

I'm about to get laughed at, but...

Demons. :) (Fallen angels, celestial entities, whatever you prefer).

I mean, if you're the type of person who takes the Bible literally (when it's meant to be literal), then acknowledging the reality of demons isn't a leap. They were cast down and occupy our realm... they're technically extraterrestrial, and arguably they operate with advanced knowledge from what we mere mortals possess.

Okay... stop laughing, but... there it is.

"If someone with a technology 10,000 or a million years ahead of ours doesn’t want their picture taken then it won’t be. On the other hand, there are many credible photos of UFOs from every decade since the 1940’s, unless you believe that everyone who has ever photographed one is a hoaxer."

UFOs are simply that. Unidentified flying objects. I've followed the phenomena for decades and have yet to see a single incident that has me convinced of an extraterrestrial connection. Is there other life in our galaxy? Very likely. Is there advanced intelligent alien life? Possibly, but I lean toward the view that advanced alien technological civilizations are exceedingly rare, short lived or altogether nonexistent.

Your view (and variations of it) are shared by many in the UFO field.

That group includes Jacques Vallee and Laura Knight-Jadczyk.

Add to your reading list: The Three Body Problem, The Dark Forest and, Deaths End - a trilogy by Cixin Liu.

The Dark Forest answers Fermi’s conundrum - if there are aliens, where are they?

I’ve read most of the others.

I have an idea about what that major ‘religion’ might look like.

Think decades of off-books and black project funding and it does not seem unlikely that a totally separate society has been created - one we know nothing about. Which if we saw it now would look like magic.

I was once at an Air Force meeting and heard a presentation by a civilian researcher who was convinced we were being visited from "outside." A colonel in the audience asked, "If we really have visitors, how come they never crash? How come there's no debris?" The speaker replied,"Maybe their Zero Defects program really works." That brought an end to the meeting.

From the FR archive, a previous thread...

Shocking revelation: Former Air Force personnel disclose UFO, alien-related threats

A press conference was held this afternoon at the National Press Club in Washington, where at least a dozen former U.S. Air Force personnel, mostly officers who worked on secret projects connected to sensitive nuclear weapons sites, are admitting that they were privy to UFO and alien-related incidents — that occurred during their time of service.

“Okay... stop laughing, but... there it is.”

No laughing here...I think that’s actually the “silent majority” view among ordinary Christians, including my wife and I (Catholics).

I’ve seen the “100 years” quote many times before. Thought it came from a retired Lockheed or Skunk Works executive.

Secrecy about the UFO subject is like that surrounding the Manhattan project during WW II. The public then more or less knew that an atom bomb was possible because, as early as the 1920's, there were newspaper stories touting the potential for discoveries in atomic science to lead to a bomb of exceptional destructive power. By the late 1930s, a handful of scientific articles had even described the underlying physics and the materials needed for atomic bombs. Nevertheless, as an actual effort to build such a weapon, the Manhattan project progressed under a cloak of intense secrecy.

In March of 1944, the magazine Astounding Science Fiction published a story about a futuristic super bomb. Alarmed counterintelligence officials investigated and established to their satisfaction that the article was speculative and based only on unclassified sources. Years later though it was revealed that the editor of Astounding had commissioned the story because he noticed that numerous scientists who were subscribers had changed their mailing addresses to New Mexico. This led the editor to surmise that some sort of major, physics heavy, technical weapons development was underway there, with an atomic bomb the most logical explanation.

Whether the Manhattan Project or UFOs or other subjects, as a general rule, intense secrecy can keep details secret, but secrecy itself inspires speculation and offers clues as to what the secrecy is attempting to protect. Clever, well-informed outsiders can then guess but not quite prove the essential truth of the secret. That seems to be where the UFO subject is these days -- with DeLonge perhaps poised to trigger the release of enough details to prove that some UFOs are real physical objects of extraterrestrial origin.

Ominously, in the Coast to Coast AM interview, DeLonge also remarked that UFO secrecy was of waning value because the US government had been able to develop the means to defend the planet against UFOs of an aggressive and unfriendly nature. If that is true, our understanding of our place in Creation is going to become a lot more complicated.

Wouldn’t you think any serious policy discussion within the governments of the past would have addressed the intersection of UFO’s and Christianity?

What intersection of UFO’s and Christianity?

I don't know, but I presume he meant something about man's place in a cosmos designed by a personal God, and whether man is special and unique in all the universe.

On the face of it, as a Christian myself, I once believed talk of extraterrestrial life was BS because the Bible doesn't mention it... but...

Then I realized a couple things... a) yes, the Bible does mention another created class besides humans, specifically the angels, and b) just because the Bible doesn't mention something doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I now think that just because the Bible was silent on whether God created other beings anywhere else in this vast universe, that doesn't mean he didn't. On the other hand, all of creation is fallen because of original sin. And on the other other hand (or... on the gripping hand), why rule out the concept of a multiverse? Maybe there's an alternate universe where another Adam and Eve remained sinless and live in the perfect creation as intended? Or others that also fell, or maybe some where they fell but angels didn't rebel.

I'm no theologian (as it should be obvious) and much of my thinking is purely speculative and believe me... I haven't fully fleshed out these ideas. In the end, to be honest, I don't care... maybe aliens exist, maybe not... it wouldn't shake my faith either way. But some people, it would affect them in profound ways, shaking their belief system to the core.

This can be answered so many ways. Do beings from other worlds serve the same God? Was Christ an alien? Isn’t that the basis for Scientology?

There is an embarrassment of riches in terms of evidence to support Unidentified Aerial Phenomena and the sea based version too.

There is also more than adequate evidence that some of these vehicles may be man made, and others ET.

WHEN disclosure occurs, it wouldn’t surprise me if this tech is used to scare the earth into a one world government.

That slow boil of the frog began a long time ago.

The Soviets loved telling Americans to “Watch the Skies” and file reports with “watchdog” organizations.

It was free spying for them on our nation’s test aircraft.

Now, the utility of UFO belief has been turned to the cause of a global collectivist government. Which was the Soviet goal all along.

There is a recent documentary called “Unacknowledged” on Netflix. In it they quote the “100 years” as well. Since my relative said this to me 10 years ago, I have to think it is a “thing” to say in the inner circle.
