Inside Knowledge About Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Could Lead To World-Changing Technology

Tom DeLonge...spent many years studying UFOs, and essentially left his previous lucrative career to devote himself to this pursuit, using his own personal income and resources to set up an entertainment company called To The Stars (TTS). It had the goal of disseminating information about UFOs, consciousness, the paranormal and other unexplained mysteries through artistic pursuits such as fiction and non-fiction books, feature films, and television productions.

Most importantly, while doing so, Tom was gradually able to establish relationships with flag officers and other highly placed insiders in the aerospace industry, intelligence, the Department of Defense and NASA. These independent sources provided him with information about the UFO phenomenon and worked with him to develop a plan for the incremental release of this information through TTS, which would be particularly geared towards reaching younger audiences.

...

Then, in late 2016, Wikileaks published a number of Tom’s emails to John Podesta, which revealed the names of some of these sources. Among his advisors were two generals: one was a commander of the U.S. Air Force’s research laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and responsible for managing the Air Force’s $2.2 billion science and technology program; the other was the Special Assistant to the Commander of Air Force Space Command at Peterson Air Force Base. As devastating as this was to some, it established for those who doubted him that Tom was indeed telling the truth about his high level contacts.

Tom’s plans for TTS were delayed at this point, but he persevered. Subsequent delays have been out of his control, but everyone involved agrees with the necessity for a gradual release of information.

“The fact is, we might not necessarily be alone,” Luis Elizondo says. “Now is the time to move forward and try to answer some of life’s deepest mysteries.”

I have not read that one. Have you? Housemate hasn’t read it either.

I used to own both of his books but I lost them during frequent moves. Very hard to get hold of another copy.

Hmmmm. Thanks.

My household does try to keep a cursory tab on the Reptilian stuff. I wonder if Amazon used books would have it. Will check.

David Icke has made millions and created a cottage industry on it.

A little searching will turn up a LOT of videos purporting to be of UFOs.

as an aside, someone with a technology 10,000 or a million years ahead of ours trying to “advance” us would be equivalent to us trying to teach a group of cavemen to manufacture a laptop PC with their existing technology.

the acquisition of knowledge and technology must occur in tandem and the advancement of both is necessarily an incremental process, that is, newer knowledge and technology has to be built on the older in an incremental fashion.

it’s pure fantasy for those who believe that a “super-advanced” civilization could land on Earth, wave their magic wand, and instantly transform us into them. Using the caveman analogy, the best they could do is probably advance us from stone tools to some type of simple copper ones by showing us a simple wood-fired copper smelting technique with easy-to-smelt copper ores.

Even Einstein’s theories are being repudiated, as I understand it, and many people here were alive during his career. What will we know 100 years from now?

In 1817 if you spoke of a thing called "radio" you would have been thought to be crazy.

In 1917 we had radio, but if you were to talk of television, you'd get the "you're crazy" reaction.

I can remember in the '50s seeing a news headline blaring that we had bounced radar off the moon. Twenty years later we were landing on it.

Technology can advance in leaps and bounds, so who knows when we will come up with something that will take us to the stars within a meaningful time frame?

I have a relative that worked at both Los Alamos and Sandia Labs.

He knew I was into this kind of stuff, but was appropriately tight lipped about it. He would go on about declassified things like the Atomic Airplane project he once worked on, but not a peep about classified projects.

We got into a discussion about Tesla’s stuff that was obviously making him uncomfortable. When I persisted he said..

“You’re into science fiction, right? Think about where you “think” we are, add 100 years, and you’re just getting close.”

John S., a good friend of mine now passed, was a businessman and retired foreign intelligence operative under deep cover for the CIA and military intelligence. Reflecting his wife's views, he was also a casual UFO believer and knew Hal Puthoff well as a friend and business associate. As John told me, Puthoff used to tell him that he wanted one thing above all: access to captured UFO technology and test data. With that, Puthoff believed that he could complete his theoretical physics work on faster than light travel.

Yet, as my friend John explained, despite his and Puthoff's security clearances and high level connections, he could make no progress on the subject because of its classification level. Even referring to the UFO subject generated an adverse reaction. For John, this was confirmation of sorts that UFOs were real in some sense. Just as a closely guarded building indicates something of value is present, intense security is not imposed on a subject because there is nothing to it.

Fortuitously, John happened to be at Los Alamos for a business meeting just after the Phoenix sightings. The scientists he met with were preoccupied with analysis of the video and other data they had procured. Their firm conclusion was that the sightings were of an actual UFO. John's takeaway was that the event would help shift opinion toward eventual recognition of the reality of UFOs.

In a Coast to Coast AM radio interview, DeLonge explained that insiders in the know felt trapped by UFO secrecy and wanted to gradually end it. They viewed the elaborate secrecy as oppressive and no longer justified or useful. DeLonge also expressed his respect for what the US government had accomplished in easing public alarm on the subject through secrecy while also intensely researching UFOs until they were understood.

I do not know if DeLonge will succeed, but I wish him well.

My question is if they are so advanced, why do they need lights to see in the dark? We knuckle dragging humans have that one already figured out.

Sorry, but using John Podesta is certainly not credential worthy.

Of open mind, here, with two feet still on the ground.

I’m here to contradict all these ‘deep cover’ people.

Worked with guys who had worked on this stuff.

Yes - lots of unexplained phenomenon. Incredibly fast moving balls of light. Visual reports. But absolutely nothing tangible. No credible photos of ships. No crash debris. Nothing. No alien technology (they snorted at that one).

Maybe they were lying to me. Don’t think so - their frustration seemed genuine.

That is my view—”they” have always been here and the “aliens from outer space” is disinformation—from them!

Podesta had several of the UFO folks contacting him by email.

He played along, but if you read between the lines it was clear he thought they were all kooks.
