Short & Sweet.....POTUS, Donald J. Trump, get rid of Paul Ryan as Speaker of the House. He has failed you with driven purpose!!! Broom him...he is poison for you & the entire Republican Party!!! End of story!!!
President Trump cannot remove a member of the House, only the voters can do that.
The President cannot remove a Speaker, only the House can do that.
Forget it, he’s rollin’.
He has no authority to do so. None at all............................
He’s like Assad - who are we going to replace him with?!
He should get rid of ALL of the RINOs and GOPe while he is at it if he would have the power to do so.
Unfortunately no one better seems to want the job.
Trump may not have the direct power to remove Ryan from office...but...there is more then one way to skin a cat!!! Ryan is a weak sister...from head to toe, hates Trump and loves and adores himself!!! A real loser with an evil heat and soul!!!
I’ll tell ya what really drives me nuts. That Paul Ryan let the House go on recess and after, he, and he alone, could not deliver “Obamacare” repeal & replacement after having two years as House leader...and, no effective plan to kill “Obamacare”!!!
Ryan/McConnell/Pelosi/Schumer....you're playing in our sandbox and you will play by our rules.
President Trump has the bully pulpit to speak from. I bet if he went to house Republicans and said find me a new leader that I can work with, they would do it without much hesitation. All he has to do is ask.
There is no intent to repeal Obamacare.
Rearrange and repair is what we were offered.
Even shorter: Stop wasting your breath.
239 Republicans put Ryan in that job - tell them. I’m sure the Democrat members of the House would happy to help, as long as the alternative is Nancy Pelosi.

Maybe even ask in Wisconsin today ;-). My guess he is doing everything he can internationally and regulatory, but needs Congress to move on Legislation, aka Obamacare/ R & R, Tax Policy, Dodd Frank bye-bye, etc etc.
This might be the last time he speaks highly of him, or he ask for a change or denotes his disappointment, In Ryan's back yard.
Love to see it, because frankly I am sick of him all all he owes on K-Street...
If the President from a given party, who has his party’s majority in both houses, makes clear his wish that the speaker of the house be changed it will happen.
If not, the speaker and his supporters who oppose the president’s preference are acting as obstructionists and causing a type of civil war within the party.
So, yes, Trump can provide the impetus for Ryan to be replaced.

Lurkinanloomin, you are 100% correct. However, if a sitting president decides he cannot work with a member of the House there are ways he can let people know. Ryan would not last. Ryan will do everything in his power to subvert Trump while claiming he is working for the president. That is the type of personality he has. A despicable worm.
I agree that Ryan is attempting to subvert the Trump agenda, but President Trump says he has full confidence in him and attacks the Freedom Caucus instead.
Note to JLAGRAYFOX: Article I, Section 2 says that it is the members of the House of Representatives who choose the Speaker of the House. The President does not have a say in who is and is not the Speaker of the House.
Trump can’t just do that.
I wish he could.
That’s probably not a power we want just any president to have.
