DENVER (CBS4) Colorados 2015-2016 Winter season may be one for the record books as El Niño conditions strengthen in the Pacific Ocean. The El Niño forecast released by NOAA suggests a colder winter with more snowfall than normal. Ocean temperatures in the equatorial Pacific have been as much as four degrees warmer than average over the past few months. Historically, this setup has brought more moisture into the state during the winter months, especially southwestern Colorado, but Denver has also seen its largest snowstorms during El Niño years.

The last good blizzard for Colorado was 2006 / 2007 winter. We could use another good one as there is very little year round snow pack up on the mountains. It would be nice to have a good snow.

Well, at least he is trying to predict the weather a few months from now, not a hundred years.

Other than the mountains Colorado is not a very snowy state.

Ha, Ha.
When I worked in Yemen, I had a clerk (from Kenya) ask me if snow was real or just a joke made up by us.
