It seems to me to just be dark.
I want complex characters not predictably depressing.
Its like Gertrude Stein said about Oakland California: there is no there there.
I always value FREEPER input.
So far it sucks big time. I recorded yesterday’s but have yet to watch it. Maybe it will get better.
Season 1 was one of the best TV shows ever, right up there with Breaking Bad.
Season 2 is a mess. Too many characters. Too convoluted a plot. You need a spreadsheet to keep track.
lololol... yeah... it does...
It definitely is not as good as the first year. The current episodes are hard to follow sometimes and it seems everyone has “issues”. I’ll continue to follow it until it either gets better or it bores me.
Its unwatchable if that is a word.

Not nearly as good as S1. Sophomore slump.
Too many main characters packed into the same season length.
Vince’s performance is uneven. The scenes with his wife fall flat. Why are we supposed to care about him?
I think they rushed it out before it was ready.
You know, if you watch Season 1 again you begin to notice that right after the midpoint when they kill the meth making bad guys the show starts to fall apart a little like it lost direction. Then it just meanders a little and then sort of just... ends. I liked it a lot, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that they meant for it to end about half way through when they “caught” the killer(s). Still good though.
I think it started out that way, but the different strands are starting to come together and it seems to be picking up the pace.
I record it and then give up half way through.
I don’t understand how they threw this spaghetti at the wall and expected something out of it.
On another note, I'm watching the first episode of the second season of "The Strain", and am thoroughly enjoying it. I usually fast forward during the commercials, but something caught my eye. I rewound it and discovered an announcement for a new FX series coming this fall. It's called "The Bastard Executioner", and takes place during the reign of King Edward III. Right up my alley.
I swear: one more pensive brooding look from Colin Farrell and i’ll go Elvis on my TV.
Just joshing. I LOVE my big screen.
I guess Season 1 was a blessing and a curse. The acting bar was set pretty high by the leads.
Spreadsheet.
LOL kind of like looking at the corruption of the three branches of our government and how it flows through every department in the nation.
Too much foundation. Obviously not as good as last one.
I am really enjoying it. I didn’t care for Mcconaughey or Harrelson last year but I was forced to watch a few episodes and I was blown away by both of those guys and the series
It doesn’t totally suck in my opinion; I still find it watchable. It is trying too hard to be L.A. film noir, so much so that it has become parody, especially Vaughn’s scenes. He doesn’t speak like a human being. And can that bar please get a cover band one night instead of that mopey folk singer! At least bring back the Conway Twitty impersonator in a non-dream sequence.
Yes. I am so tired of Debby Downer.
I haven’t yet stated watching it as I like to do it over a few nights once the Season is done. But I have some friends that who loved it last Season say it is terrible. One even stopped watching.
So. That is not at all my opinion but well ... there it is.
