TBX is by Kurt Sutter who did Sons of Anarchy
I wholeheartedly disagree.
Season Two is unlike Season One, but we knew going in that would be the case. Still, its hard to let go of the expectations raised by a Season One that was so successful on so many levels.
Season Two must tell an entirely different kind of story and it has to tell it in a different way. Season Two is far more straightforward without the confusing and awkward flashbacks that made Season One a bit difficult to follow. Season 2 requires a far more linear storytelling technique.
For those who dont like it, to each his own. I am enjoying it immensely on its own merits.
As a bit of frosting on the cake, the New Season of Ray Donovan started this weekend, and it is also looking very good with Ian McShane joining the cast.

Mikey, I’m with you. I forced myself to watch the first episode. I thought I had started watching in the middle of the story, I was so lost.
The writing is terrible. The actors, on the whole, seem to have forgotten that unless dialog is spoken clearly, the audience loses the words, thereby losing the story. Maybe they don’t care.
The ending of the third episode was grizzly and awful. I don’t think I’ll watch any more. Am so glad to know I’m not the only one with these reactions.
Me too...I just saw the trailer and am excited...this is written by Kurt Sutter who started writing for The Shield then did Sons of Anarchy for 7 years which had great story lines and characters....hope we start a thread when it airs...
