Are There Birds In Canada?
I did not know this; but then, Canada has always been a mystery. Yahoo Answers to the rescue.

Canada has one indigenous bird. Her name is Celine Dion, and she’s not nearly endangered enough.

They snuck in across the border...
And that, son, is where all those Canada Geese came from.

Thanks for posting this. I needed a laugh, and this appealed to my sense of goofiness.

I don’t think there could be. There aren’t any in North Dakota, and it’s even colder in Canada.

There's one bird in all of canada, all the locals take weekly turns caring for it. It the bird dies, then that family must leave canada and not return until they have found another bird. Yeah, my turn was up about six weeks ago. Fortunately the little critter made it through without a problem though he's getting old and it was touch and go there for a while.

I was in a bank just this morning. I looked up and the person in front of me had a beautiful green amazon parrot sitting perched on his left shoulder. AT first, I thought I was seeing a soft sculpture, until his little bird head started moving around taking in his surroundings.
This bird looked very young and calm, was probably used to hand feeding. Never, would I walk down the public road with a parrot on my shoulder. Not because I’m not a pirate, which is true, but because somebody may try to snatch Pretty Polly right off of my shoulder.

Are there birds in Canada? Well, I should say so. There’s that pretty Canadian songbird, Anne Murray, who sang that beautiful song about the snowbird. Remember it?
“Oh, little snowbird take me with you when you go
La la la la la la la
Spread your tiny wings and fly away
Dum dum de dum de dum dum
Mock...yeah....bird.....yeah
We wu wu wu wu”
It sounds better when she sings it.
