In a group of studies published Sunday in the journals Science and Nature Medicine, researchers say old mice who were infused with the blood of spry younger mice showed clear improvements in memory, sensory function, strength and endurance.
Researchers say a specific protein, found in the blood of mice and humans, appears to be at the root of this rejuvenation. They say they hope to test the protein's effect on humans in clinical trials in the next few years.

Very interesting — quite a bit of info in the article.
It won’t be necessary to take blood from the young, looks like they identified “ a protein known as growth differentiation factor 11, or GDF11, which is abundant in young mice but decreases as they grow older.”
Maybe they’ll find a way to produce that...
And it’s quite impressive that they reverse severe illnesses too:
“Subsequent studies showed these factors could also reverse age-related enlargement of the heart and improve the ability of old mice to generate new nerve cells.”

I would presume that won’t work with humans or the effects would have been noticed with hemophiliacs.
I expect the Saturday morning infomercials will be selling GDF 11 pills by the truck load in the near future.
However, from what I can find, GDF 11 is only produced in the human body and it must be injected. Perhaps a GDF 11 interveinal pump will be the ticket.
Probably shouldn’t publish this fact. Planned Parenthood will probably start a side business of sucking the blood out of aborted fetuses to sell to their elite sponsors.
