A black-hole system in a neighboring galaxy is twice as bright as astronomers had thought possible, a new study reports.
The incredible luminosity of the system in question, which resides about 22 million light-years from Earth in the Pinwheel Galaxy, may force a rethink of the theories that explain how some black holes radiate energy, researchers said.

Thanks for posting this article. Very interesting.
From article:
“As if black holes werent extreme enough, this is a really extreme one that is shining as brightly as it possibly can,” study co-author Joel Bregman of the University of Michigan said in a statement. “Its figured out a way to be more luminous than we thought possible.”
I think that sums it up in a nutshell.
You’re barking at science re-checking its assumptions and making changes when necessary?
Re-checking assumptions is a good thing, an important feature.
Wow...that is arrogant...
So that black hole is at fault for making you look dumb...?
How about saying:
"We are puzzled about the dynamics of the light coming from this black hole. We don't understand it and need to evaluate our premises and theories"...
************************************EXCERPT*************
The astronomers studied a system called ULX-1, which consists of a black hole and a companion star that orbit each other. As its name suggests ULX is short for "ultraluminous X-ray source" ULX-1 generates prodigious amounts of high-energy X-ray light, which is emitted by material spiraling down into the black hole's maw.
But But..
They created such great animations and such great stories about black holes, how can we deny that reality ?
If black-holes draw in light from the inlet side, shouldn’t looking at the outlet side show some type of light?
Y’all white people be funny.
Methinks my wallet is a black hole.
That was obviously a thread hijack attempt.

A black hole is bright? How the hell do astronomers paint their houses?
“Ummm...dear.....I said I wanted to brighten up the living room walls. You painted them black.”
“Yes. Black is bright.”
“Dear, are the other guys at the observatory smoking crack, too?”
The only thing I know for sure is that we really don’t know anything.
Maybe it is a grey hole.

Grant moneys must be running low.
HA HA HA. This should teach them not to be so sure of their theories!
" Why do you taunt me with your darkness?
Damn, Global Warming is even lighting up “Black Holes.” I tell you, Global Warming can do everything.
