Had he already released his plans? If so, get copies on TOR sites.

Odd, there is nothing illegal about manufacturing a gun for your personal use. You just can’t sell or transfer it.

Gosh, I WONDER why Janet is buying up allllll that ammo, right? And buying all those MRAP’s. And staging all those live-fire drills with helicopters in MAJOR CITIES....

Gosh I really WONDER.

Try http://Defdist.org not dot com. This has been reported in the past. They just didn't know what URL was.

Probably the same law they tried to get Phil Zimmerman on with PGP. That didn't go well for the feds. I still have my T-shirt from supporting Zimm.

Looks like the torrent's already at http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/458559021/def+cad+3d+gun?tab=summary .  Word's out. Can't get the toothpaste back into the tube...

I’m sure there are copies out there that will eventually get wide release. There will likely also be a flood of other plans released by other developers. This genie isn’t going back in the bottle.

Yep, not everything is a government conspiracy. They probably were just doing some site maintenance or a had a hiccup with their server. (it would be kind of pointless for the government to take them now anyway considering the plans are already available all over the web).

When the feds outlaw plastic polymers, only the criminals will have plastic polymers!

The feds tried shutting Phil Zimmerman down based on ITAR Section 120.17(IV) & 121.1 (XIII), and 22 USC 2778 and 2779.

EFF and others took the feds to court, with folks like me buying T-shirts to fund the defense, and the feds lost. PGP is legal. It isn't a munition, regardless of what they say. Bits aren't bombs.
