Good question. The files have a .stl extension. Clicking on them gets some message about certificate error.
I’ll never need them. However, “just in case”... ;-)
I’m no lawyer and I’ve not checked but...there’s a thing called ITAR (International Trafficking & Arms Regulation). This isn’t restricted to just physical weapons but the intellectual property (software, designs, etc.). So possibly something along those lines (ITAR violation).
I’m not saying it justifies them being shut down, this will need to get sorted out.

They can claim that is going to other counties, so that might be it.
