There are close to 100 recognized domestic cat breeds and every last one of them descended from wildcats. Some are recognizable just by looking at them. For instance, weve all heard of Persian, Siamese and Burmese cats. Other cats, however, aren't as recognizable, and not nearly as common. Here are some adorable photos of rare cat breeds who may not have crossed your path!

If talking about the opening article, what presents is an apparently untitled slide show. Lack of titles is a drag, but they can be “arrowed” through.
