Almost four years ago Rush had chest pains during a vacation in Hawaii. He received the best possible care, and all turned out well. He revealed that he does not have health insurance and pays out of pocket, negotiating the best rate. Will Rush take this opportunity to be the civil rights leader of the 21st century and engage in civil disobedience? Will he tell Pharaoh Obama to let his people go!
Private payers will probably be banned knowing Obama.
Florida just declared they will not have the exchanges, and there are 21 other states that have done the same, to my recollection.
Rush lives in FL. We simply won’t participate. Fine isn’t possible if the machinery isn’t there to follow the “mandate”.
Kewel ....
I think Rush or maybe Mark Levin would litigate. Unless they have a probate violation, no one will go to jail. Could you imagine if Rush(or some other prominent conservative) was actually thrown in jail for not paying the fine or buying insurance? This could be a cause célèbre that could ignite a firestorm.
The Bahamas is not far for him.
Have transcripts of Rush’s shows. He never said Romney would win, and he couldn’t stand McCain. Whom are you talking about?
Fairly unimaginative postings here. Are there no freedom loving people on FR? We simply refuse, and yes, horror of horrors we don’t get medical care. Lot’s of people in the non corporate slave world go “naked” with insurance. It is how an awful lot of people have had to live for some time.
And a beautiful naional “tea party” revolt that could not be contained. Looking forward to it.
Freepers like you always make this fun, thanks :)
Talk radio giant Rush Limbaugh says that Sen. John McCain will score a stunning upset over Sen. Barack Obama and win the presidency on Nov. 4

‘Don't Doubt me’ LOL
For some reason when Rush said that Romney would beat O in a landslide I was skeptical ...
“A national boycott of an unconstitutional law will be organized, and is being organized, and one for which there is not enough police to prevent.”
Thank you John. This is the reason for my post. This is the way people need to think.
oh right, quote some London rag with 200 readers and ignore a show with an audience of 25 million. GEEZ, gimme a break
No one listening to Rush the entire 08 season is under any delusion that Rush thought McCain would win. No one. Screw one interview, that may or may not have been taken in context - I listened all of 08 and the only time Rush had any optimism was right after the Palin pick.
You are correct - and also, Obamacare requires you have insurance, which I am sure Rush does.
On the national level very many people, should it ever come to that will simply NOT file both a.)1040 return or b.)the reporting form indicating insurance coverage, or will file but not the reporting form.”
Not a good idea not to fill out and file the 1040.
From what i can tell, the healthcare form gets filled out by the EMPLOYER.
Its possible they could put a box on the w-2 and mark it if the employee has health coverage.
bump
AFAIK Rush “self-insures”
No ? Man freepers like you make this fun. Thanks!

The enthusiasm that got people out in 2010, I'm seeing at every Mitt Romney rally. Romney's drawing crowds of 20,000, 25,000, 30,000, 15,000. The enthusiasm that we all saw in 2010 is there. The same issues that existed in 2010 exist today. There hasn't been anything that's gotten better.
Rush: Everything But Polls Say Romney Landslide (Newmake Monday, 05 Nov 2012)
Don't Doubt me LOL
Yes you are right.
Newsmax is a left wing rag who planted that story that McCain would win on Oct 31, 2008 days before the election knowing Mccain would lose just to make Rush look foolish after it happened. They were saying MCcain would win because they knew he would lose. ,
Dont you Rush groupies EVER get tired of waking up the day after election being told why everything Rush told you that was shown not true was really true?
Its all voters fault that Rush told you Mccain and Romney would win big.
Youre right jackass, let’s judge Rush by a newsmax email blast advertisement and a third person quote from a London reporter - let’s not judge Rush by his own words for six months leading up to election day.
The guy is on three hours a day, and said a lot of words - but no one, NO ONE, would say that over the course of the many months leading up to election day, that he was optimistic about McCain’s chances over all. No one....with a brain.
He clearly thought Romney would win - just like he clearly thought McCain would lose - based on the over all tenor of his comments.
WOW, Rush must have planted a chip in your head to have to buy that.
Jackass???, you are going to hurt my feelings if you keep this up LOL
Maybe this source is suspicious too:
We Could See a McCain Landslide( Rushlimbaugh.comAugust 12, 2008)
Man this is fun!
Rush Limbaugh has NEVER run for any public office; nor has he registered to be a pastor or an actor on tv. - He is an imperfect man and acknowledges it. Unlike the reprobate icon of adoration, Bill Clinton and his consort, Hillary.
I doubt you’ve ever even listened to just a few of Rush’s monologues; it would get you shamed by your liberal friends. ILLEGAL Viagara ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha bwa ha ha ha. Illegal Viagara bothers you, but illegal immigration doesn’t?
Rush said, “My job is not to win elections, it’s to do the most entertaining radio program that I can.”
