Talk radio giant Rush Limbaugh says that Sen. John McCain will score a stunning upset over Sen. Barack Obama and win the presidency on Nov. 4
[Rush] Limbaugh Predicts McCain Victory (NewsMax ^ | October 31, 2008 | David A. Patten, FR thread link )
The enthusiasm that got people out in 2010, I'm seeing at every Mitt Romney rally. Romney's drawing crowds of 20,000, 25,000, 30,000, 15,000. The enthusiasm that we all saw in 2010 is there. The same issues that existed in 2010 exist today. There hasn't been anything that's gotten better.
Rush: Everything But Polls Say Romney Landslide (Newmake Monday, 05 Nov 2012)
Don't Doubt me LOL
Youre right jackass, let’s judge Rush by a newsmax email blast advertisement and a third person quote from a London reporter - let’s not judge Rush by his own words for six months leading up to election day.
The guy is on three hours a day, and said a lot of words - but no one, NO ONE, would say that over the course of the many months leading up to election day, that he was optimistic about McCain’s chances over all. No one....with a brain.
He clearly thought Romney would win - just like he clearly thought McCain would lose - based on the over all tenor of his comments.
In each case the reference to “what Rush said” left out the full show content with his usual on balance type of comments. He said Romney was a “nice man” and then said nothing would work if we don’t vote. Levin said the same thing.
In each election, Rush has said the polls are not predictive or definitive, in fact in this election saying the polls are virtually useless because they do not access a true statistical sample— of real people. He’d castigate polle even as he would lamely cheer on yet another put up candidate for the team. Boortz on the otherhand is giving up on RINOland, and selfrighteously going to register Libertarian— a truly pointless exercise.
” Freepers like you”? Speak for yourself— you’ve no idea who I am, what business I own or anything else.
Would say what is more puzzling is why Rush will not pursue the voter fraud issue— which was present in 08 and this one along with illegal money of a sort that is mostly likely foreign sourced. With all of Romney’s money— why didn’t he? Answer: just like McCain he didn’t want it enough to go after obama. What was needed is a scrapper.
