There Is No Such Thing as The Great Reset
By J. Johnson
The fact that the title alone will ensure negative reactions from many justifies the reasons for saying it. This new master plan called ‘The Great Reset’ is the newest rave amongst Real Americans as the latest path to the inevitable Revelation 13:16-18, when those predicting the worst can say, “See, I told you so”.
Perhaps it’s time to have an honest, sobering discussion about this ‘reset’, and how it’s affecting many Americans – long before it ever happens, and if it ever happens in the first place.
The Great Reset, we are told, is the concoction of a group of wealthy business people who are members of the World Economic Forum (WEF); henceforth known as the WEF-ers. Their goal (as told by my peers) is that “You will own nothing, and be happy”. We get a steady diet of that, and for dessert, we get the altruistic promise that “…you will eat bugs.” The irony is that I hear, see and read this stuff more from our own side than I have ever heard it from the WEF-ers. Those making these predictions state it with no pre-conditions, no reasoning, and no counter solutions. “It’s gonna happen, and there’s nothing nobody can do about it!” (pardon the ‘Goodfellas’ movie reference).
It’s like we talk about these issues so much, that we are literally talking ourselves into this social construct. What’s worse, many of us (including myself), find ourselves in search of more ‘alternative’ news that reports the same thing. It’s almost like we’re addicted to this and other types of negative narratives. I believe these continuing conversations – the constant consumption of such negative information is contrary to what should be our long-term goals, destructive to the mindset, and absolute poison to the soul. Allow this author the attempt to break us out of this psychosis for a few minutes.
Now, I can just hear the woodpecker-like sounds on keyboards across the realm ready to ‘let me have it’ about why I am wrong, don’t see the big picture, or coming up with counterpoints against what I listed above in order to continue the ongoing narrative. If you are among those, just remember: you’ll be making my point, and in fact, justifying this entire article. Please don’t hit ‘send’ yet.
As I have long since turned off “legacy media”, I now find myself doing the same for the “alternative media”. Although good sources of today’s other news, the constant drum beat of “how bad it’s going to get” has me changing the dial or tuning out altogether. Just think about it: “You’ll own nothing, be happy, eat bugs, “civil war coming”, and we’re all going to die; and please subscribe, hit the ‘like’ button, and sign-up for a monthly subscription so we can give you more of this.”
Does any of this help you sleep better at night? Is this really worth a monthly subscription model?
What we don’t hear – and what we should hear more of – is what we could and should be doing to better secure the future for ourselves and/or our posterity. We should gravitate toward stories and report having a more positive, instructional, or inspirational impact on our lives. And here’s something that may anger some of you: Much of this information isn’t even found on the internet. Either it’s censored, pushed down in the search results, or just doesn’t sell.
Might I suggest a once a week break from all the bad news to relax with a book (i.e. numerous pages of text printed on paper and bound together with thick covers on front and back). If food is going to be in short supply, perhaps we should look into raising our own crops, and even livestock if possible (homesteading); If successful, share this information with others (networking). Instead of ‘owning nothing’, would it be more appropriate to say how many people who are not rich are actually working to own property and increasing its value due to the hard work they are putting into it? Taking something of little value and turning it into something worth much more? I suspect we would learn these are the happier people among us, clearly ignoring all the negative vibes emanating from our camp these days.
I have learned that turning off ‘our own media’ - even for a day at times – puts me in better spirits.
And instead of all this talk about mass death, perhaps we should dedicate some time talking about life; living to improve it; ways on how to survive what some think is coming our way. Oh, and I probably should say this to avoid the in-the-box thing: We need to think in terms beyond the Second Amendment, or the 45th President (yeah, I said that). We can learn from the past, but we cannot and should not be stuck there. We have to begin to think about the future as a challenge, not a fait accompli.
Instead of living a life in personal lockdown, Prayer and Fellowship can go a long way towards breaking out of this mental and spiritual prison.
In my design/engineering classes, we were taught that when building any structure or device, we first envision the finished product; what we wish it to be, then design in reverse order until we know what foundation we need to get the project started. Over the years, I have learned the same goes for real life, and the challenges ahead. If we can change course by filling our bodies, hearts, minds and souls with Goodness instead of the poison pills we are fed daily, their version of "The Great Reset" would be meaningless to us. And it's best to remember that our Great Reset was provided to us long ago at Calvary.

Two words:
Normalcy Bias
self fulfilling prophecies and all.
when the majority of the people believe that it is in their best interests, there will be those who will wish to take advantage of them.
we shall see.
Hellooooooo, they’re ideologues, not businessmen. It’s obvious that their things don’t actually work, but that’s not gonna stop ‘em.
I did read the whole thing.
I feel like The Great Reset is, basically Totalitarian Oppression which is forced on a population which is asleep and not really aware of what is coming.
Will we really be happy? No. That’s not the point. The promise of happiness evaporates when the oppression is in place.
Will we want to eat bugs? No. That’s not the point. The bugs become the only choice once the Globalists really control the food supply.
Can we homestead our way out of this? No. The Totalitarian Oppression will stop you.
I read the Bible and my faith is strong, but dark days are coming and talking about the Great Reset is a decent way to warn people about the coming horsemen.
You are laboring under the delusion that they intend to allow us to live.
...not just a river in Egypt.
Only addressing the first point. Easily refuted - the taxes are in the rent. In fact, the more expensive the rent, the better. Makes you less likely to ever own anything.
One thing I'd add is that we are told that Klaus Schwab, the Founder of the WEF, is a brilliant mastermind bent on, and close to achieving, world domination.
The truth is that he's an 84 year old grifter who founded the WEF more than 50 years ago. It's a vehicle for him to monetize the pre-existing love of self-perpetuating bureaucracies long boved by a certain brand of European elites. He'd never have obtained the wealth or notoriety he's gained as the "Founder of the WEF" if he's just remained a second-rate professor.
But given that this thing has existed since 1971, he's now 84 and hasn't managed to take over in all that time, I rather think his status as an economic Mephistopheles has been just a tad bit overblown.
The additional point it is important to remember about him and the WEF is that these bureaucracies have been around in Europe since at least the 19th century. He's basically hopped to the head of a parade that already existed, and slapped a label on it as a way to monetize it.
The people who support those particular views would support them anyway regardless of the label slapped onto it, or the existence of the WEF.
Don’t kid yourself.
The “Great Reset” is real and there are vile organization like Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum (WEF) who are ready, willing, and able to enforce it. Another name for the “Great Reset” is Worldwide Totalitarian Government. America is the only thing standing in its way
The Biden/Obama Administration is working feverishly to to remove America so there’s no more hindrance to the Great Reset.
Will they succeed? Well this is effectively Obama’s third term to try to finish what he started.
I think they will fail and Satan’s Great Reset will have to wait until later this century.
But it wall come and woe be to those upon whom it comes.
“I have learned that turning off ‘our own media’ - even for a day at times – puts me in better spirits.”
Excellent advice here.
Otherwise, there is indeed a “great reset” plan by the world’s parasites (I won’t call them elites). They have even said it many times themselves.
I don’t know exactly what that will involve, but it will certainly include:
Less freedoms for you and me.
Less money for you and me.
More money for them.
What’s so crazy about this concept?
Keep your eye on Klaus Schwab.
Debating the definitions of words, or which words apply to the programs that are being pushed on us, is an academic exercise that we no longer have time for. Save that for the debating clique at NRO. How best to resist tyranny is where we should focus.
Long, overly complicated, unsubstantiated.
Of course, there is a Great Reset. The author of the Great Reset is Klaus Schwab who heads up his World Economic Forum (WEF).
If anyone is questioning existence of the Great Reset, they can explain where Build Back Better comes from, because BBB comes from the Great Reset thesis that Schwab wrote.

Is there a Great Reset? Of course there is.
Will God ultimately have his way? Without a doubt.
The Klaus Schwab reset will not happen. As the line in Handel’s Messiah says, “For the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.” Isaiah 40:5b
I would probably delete your sentence about 45. Reason, what IF GOD anointed him (which I believe!!) to use God’s authority and power to Save America and bring us to revival???
President Trump is not my Savior, that would be Jesus. He is my President as, without a doubt, 2020 was a stolen election. When puny men have the glory of John and Abigail Adams to lay down their sins and life to God Almighty, admit they lied and/or are bought by Satan (WEF), imagine the light, freedom and liberty America would experience. Plus we know bad things happened so just admit it and repent, cause it is not about we deplorables judgement, it’s about eternal judgement!
“The masses never revolt of their own accord, and they never revolt merely because they are oppressed. Indeed, so long as they are not permitted to have standards of comparison, they never even become aware that they are oppressed.”
― George Orwell, 1984
“It was possible, no doubt, to imagine a society in which wealth, in the sense of personal possessions and luxuries, should be evenly distributed, while power remained in the hands of a small privileged caste. But in practice such a society could not long remain stable. For if leisure and security were enjoyed by all alike, the great mass of human beings who are normally stupefied by poverty would become literate and would learn to think for themselves; and when once they had done this, they would sooner or later realise that the privileged minority had no function, and they would sweep it away. In the long run, a hierarchical society was only possible on a basis of poverty and ignorance.”
― George Orwell, 1984
“So long as they (the Proles) continued to work and breed, their other activities were without importance. Left to themselves, like cattle turned loose upon the plains of Argentina, they had reverted to a style of life that appeared to be natural to them, a sort of ancestral pattern...Heavy physical work, the care of home and children, petty quarrels with neighbors, films, football, beer and above all, gambling filled up the horizon of their minds. To keep them in control was not difficult.”
― George Orwell, 1984
