Me too, just south of Ithaca - worked at Cornell in mid ‘50’s after graduation and Ithaca was a great city THEN.
I have some relatives who avoid it like the plague today! I left there in ‘57 and haven’t looked back. Communicate with friends there but we avoid discussing politics! I know where they’re coming from and they know where I’m coming from

THat’s actually nice, usually I don’t see these until the day after, when there’s a different poll up, usually something about some menu change in a local restaurant or something. :^)
