The world's oldest mummies are at risk of disappearing because of man-made climate change, according to a group of Harvard University scientists.

For generations, books, films, and TV have warned us of the danger of mummies. In their crypts they are relatively harmless, but when they rise from the dead and start strangling people, as they did in the Cotswolds of south central England in “Doctor Who and the Pyramids of Mars,” they become a much greater threat.
But this problem may shortly be solved, thanks to global warming.
The world’s oldest mummies are at risk of disappearing because of man-made climate change, according to a group of Harvard University scientists.
Bodies mummified about 7,000 years ago in Chile are starting to rapidly degrade, the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences said Monday in an e-mailed statement.
At the Harvard School of Engineering, they are working on the world's most important technical problems, hopefully on a federal grant.
Tests by Harvard’s Alice DeAraujo and Ralph Mitchell show that microbes that flourish in an increasingly humid climate are turning the preserved remains of Chinchorro hunter-gatherers into “black ooze.”
Isn't that fascinating? There has been no global warming, man-made or otherwise, in 17 years, and yet the mere threat of global warming has caused microbes to flourish and destroy the mummies!

Global cooling, also known as ice age has occurred every 1 dozen to 2 dozen millenniums for millions of years.
Global cooling will kill 10 times as many people as global warming. If liberals have any logical thinking brains, they should be pushing for global warming.
Burning fossil fuels faster will delay the next ice age, and save Billions of lives.
Anyway, cooling and warming are natural cycles, and man can’t stop them. Man is so insignificant on earth, the orbiting astronauts can’t see any man mad objects except the great wall of China, which is a barely perceptible this squiggly line.
Smoking? Sounds like they are dropping Acid to me. That’s when the mummies can be seen walking, for sure!!! But then they start melting into the background.
Save lives? They want just the opposite, as the earth is over populated now according to them.
Your insensitivity allows you to ignore the tragic facts of settled science. The Chinchorro mummies hardest hit by Global Warming were members of the Chinchorro LGBTG Community, women, children, and members of minority groups. Put aside your gender-normative, patriarchal, and yes racist views. Yes, you heard me correctly, I said "racist."
If the Chinchorro victims of anthropogenic Global Warming were turning into white ooze, you two would be shouting; demanding Federal Government Action, from the housetops!

Unfortunately, global warming will also increase the spread of the bacteria that infects the brain and causes zombie outbreaks, similar to the massive outbreaks that have occurred and been covered up in the tropical areas of Florida, Mississippi and Hawaii. More information here:

Sounds like something for a microwave zapper, like they did with Egyptian mummies for fungus years ago, and climate controlled display cases.
