Considering the manner in which the Hubble Telescope began its celebrated service life in disastrous circumstances, its flawed lens rendering the telescope unusable, it simply boggles the mind how NASA technicians have demonstrated the resourcefulness, creativity in which to continually upgrade its capabilities, extend Hubble's life far beyond what it was originally designed for.
Certainly, Hubble has proven itself one of the greatest, grandest of NASA's accomplishments.

Hubblecast 70: Peering Around Cosmic Corners Last month saw the inauguration of a new Hubble observing program: Frontier Fields. This will use the powerful magnifying properties of massive galaxy clusters to peer even deeper into the space around us. Hubblecast 70 takes a look at this phenomenon — known as gravitational lensing — exploring how it works, and how it can help us to uncover the secrets of the very distant Universe.

Abell 68, pictured here in infrared light, is a galaxy cluster. The effect of its gravity on light means it boosts Hubble’s power, greatly increasing the telescopes ability to observe distant and faint objects. The fuzzy collection of blobs in the middle and upper left of the image is a swarm of galaxies, each with hundreds of billions of stars and vast amounts of dark matter. Distorted shapes visible throughout the field of view are distant galaxies whose light has been bent and amplified by the cluster.

Now China has a claim on the moon. From there, all one need do is throw rocks to destroy a nation on Earth (without nuclear radiation).

Its something that a lot of conservatives have lost sight of. China will control the high ground and be able to extort any deal they want from the rest of the world.

With modern computing tech it shouldn't be any problem to get the timing right to fire off a dense metallic object (or even a rock) with a rail gun/mass driver. Depending on size, close will be good enough.
