In a 60-sec clip posted online, the voice actress absolutely nailed Blasey-Ford's voice, (and risked never being hired by Hollywood again).
Youtube Post Notes: 'Star Wars Resistance' star, Rachel Butera, attacked on Twitter for daring to mimick the pathetic 'little girl' voice that Dr Ford employed to garner sympathy at the Kavanaugh hearing. Butera was subsequently forced to delete her Tweet and apologize.
"I sound like I'm back at that high school party.....I just have this kind of a voice, like a baby, even though I’m a doctor and I’m on this media circus, political stage, and I have kids myself, that I don’t know why I speak with vocal fry," Butera continued. "But you can listen to my testimony and hear that a grown woman sounds this way."
It was great, so good that the fascists are threatening her.
Dr Ford’s voice and halting, hesitant speech, childish glances seeking approval didn’t suit for a professional woman in her 50’s. (And by the way, did no one notice her dirty glasses to clean them for her?) They must have low standards for college profs in California, I mean who doesn’t know the meaning of the word exculpatory?
"The vocal fry register (also known as pulse register, laryngealization, pulse phonation, creak, croak, popcorning, glottal fry, glottal rattle, glottal scrape, or strohbass) is the lowest vocal register and is produced through a loose glottal closure that permits air to bubble through slowly with a popping or rattling sound of a very low frequency.
Yup, this just about describes Blasey-Ford's vocal performance: "... creak, croak, popcorning, glottal rattle, glottal scrape....".
Some have also noted the rising pitch at the end of each sentence, also called upspeak, uptalk, HRT(High Rising Terminal), first becoming popular with "Valley Girl Talk". It also adds to the perceived image of a helpless innocent little girl.
TIP: Don't watch the video while playing this clip, and in your mind's eye you can easily visualize Blasey-Ford as being one & the same as the mimicking voice you hear.
Someone should merge this mocking audio with a video clip of Blasey-Ford's testimony in a way that makes it hard to tell the two don't really go together.
She needn’t worry about the backlash. A couple of revelations tonight indicate Ms. Ford and her handlers are just about done.
They only have one critical standard that must be adhered to. The professor must be a leftist moonbat kook.
The vocal fry makes me absolutely crazy. Combined baby voice, it gives away a wholly phony personality.

"I've been a bartender for 20+ years, and it's funny how I've learned the power of body language without even consciously realizing it. I watched this hearing as well, and found her overall demeanor to be that of emotional manipulation. While it's noticeable in men (usually those with aggressive tendencies), I see it primarily in women. Especially in those who are "drama queens" who have very low self-esteem, and who try to dominate the attention of the room. They always instigate the drama, and then try to garner sympathy through these sort of tactics by playing the victim after the fact... It's seriously disturbing behavior..."
I know a few far left women who suddenly revert to the child voice and mentality we saw with Dr. Ford when in trouble and try to use it to manipulate others around them. Every time I have seen it happen they knew that others knew they were lying and had proof so they reverted to a child to try to make others feel guilty of punishing them.
If it worked suddenly they were all perky and full of smiles a few seconds after being on the edge of a mental breakdown. When it didn’t work they went from smiles to silence all of a sudden. I see a pattern with the way Ford has acted.
I heard that bit on Rush’s show today, but had no idea whether it was a parody, or the real thing.
Whatever it was, it was absolutely unlistenable.

Yep. Passive aggressive control freaks, using what worked for them from age 4. Good reminder to not let my daughter control her older brothers with victim mentality. (And if she gets groped, I hope she pushes him the hell sway, gets pissed at him, and after a week pretty much forgets about the shmuck. What is the point to remaining traumatized?)
Very interesting. I dated a professor around the time of 9/11. She would do the little girly voice routine in the sack or when she was telling me I was her only love. She was 50. I later found out she was getting shafted by other blokes whilst pretending to me my one and only. Looking back now, I can see why I slept with one eye open. A real nutcase. Crazy Blasey kind of gives me the same shudder.

I noticed that see had to look over the top of those huge glasses a couple of times...like you would do with reading glasses. I concluded that they weren’t her normal glasses, but she thought the big frames would make her look more childlike and vulnerable.
