Vanity - Roy Moore pulls a Hillary Clinton disappearance act and loses.

Posted on 12/13/2017 6:02:08 AM PST by JLAGRAYFOX

Politics is a bloodsport...but, it is also a people contact sport. When I learned back a week or so ago, that Judge Roy Moore was not out campaigning in public...I knew this political game for Moore was over or, at least on a dangling, dangerous lifeline.

One of the many major reasons that Democrat, Hillary Clinton lost her POTUS run to Donald J. Trump is that she literally stopped major campaign activity starting in August, 2016...a big, major mistake. Pressing the flesh of voters is an absolute must and, Doug Jones did exactly that many times over.

Roy Moore did exactly the same thing as Clinton...hid in the closet of protection, so he thought was safe & sound, and he would be OK. Not true!!!

POTUS, Donald J. Trump saw the flaws in the Moore campaign, back In September, 2017, when Moore defeated Luther Strange in a runoff election...stating that if Luther Strange had won the runoff the senate seat would be a safe one, ending with a big victory for Luther Strange in the December 12, election.

As much as Trump hates losing the Senate to a Democrat, I'll bet he is relieved that Roy Moore is now not a continuing problem for both him & the entire GOP Caucus.

Hate to say this, but, in a special election “TURNOUT” is just about the entire game. Hiding in the corner is no way to win a “Turnout” election. I must have urged “Turnout” as a key factor to victory five hundred times in my many postings in support of Roy Moore!!! Sadly, Moore ran a “Hillary Clinton” campaign.

GOP turnout, 50% of 2016
Dem turnout, 92% of 2016

This is how the Dems intent to beat Trump in 2020. You can bet they will smash their 2016 turnout level. OH, PA and MI just got a lot harder for Trump to win after last night.

Just wait for NBA and NFL players in the ghetto campaigning and GOTV for Democrats in 2020. It will happen. Guaranteed.

The silver lining is that we got our wakeup call now, instead of after the mid-terms, so there’s still time to avert disaster.

Those numbers say it all.

If one side far surpasses the other in turnout, well then....

Now, were the Democrap numbers all legal, valid, single ballots?

My Wednesday morning post-mortem:

Scorched earth Alinsky tactics + millions in Soros money + full court press by the lying Democrat and establishment Republican press + turncoat Republican establishment + Republican establishment write in effort + total GOP failure to get out the vote + all out Democrat effort to get out the vote + flawed, underfunded, understaffed candidate + gullible voters + whatever Election Day shenanigans the Democrats are allowed to get away with = Democrat win.

It’s not rocket surgery.

The biggest shock should be that it turned out that close.

It took the all the orchestrated animus and hatred of a mostly degenerate nation and frauds in the senate to eke out a dubious result against the man.

This result says more about brazen, honorless, backstabbing republican senators (capitals intentionally omitted) and presstitutes than it does about some campaign wrinkle of Moore’s.

Needs to be repeated, Mr. Kersey...

I don’t like to lose..Moore has been a political loser for a long time

Had sunshine conservatives like you voted for Moore he would have won. You still don’t get it. Obviously never will. Conservatives win exactly nothing with Doug Jones in the Senate. No wall, no Obamacare repeal. Nothing. Congratulations on your brilliance.

There was also the issue of him taking a 180,000 salary from a charity he founded that he did very little work for. He’s a swamp creature, just coming from the right. Plus, that Hannity interview was creepy. If you have to ask a girls parents for permission to date when you are 32 years old, you might want to reevaluate your life. I mean what was he going to do take the girls to prom.

That was precisely my take on that interview. I saw it and got a sinking feeling. Somebody gave him some hideous advice.

Roy Moore did great.

Election fraud in Alabama won bigly. No lead in votes could have.

NYT is owned by a 3rd world tyrant. 3rd world elections is the future.

Ballot picture evidence destroyed by a Judge.

Nobody cares. Pay your taxes.

Speaking of which, by 2020 there had better be lots of new factories spring up in those states. Or at least two of them will go Democrat.

No candidate can beat fraud. And people do not care.

Roy Moore lost because of the allegations of misconduct from years ago. Those allegations were supported (not logically but in the minds of the public) by evidence that while he was over 30, he dated teenagers. Even though that would not have been weird in that time and place, combining it with the sex allegations was enough to sink him. It is crystal clear that he would have won but for these allegations. So all the talk today about him being crazy and divisive has very little to do with the actual precipitating cause of his defeat. He hurt himself in a number of ways,
including by the Hannity interview. But he still would have won without the allegations. So for me the lesson is that in future elections we should expect and be prepared for lurid sex-related allegations just prior to Election Day. The second takeaway is that the cause of defeat, which was the sex allegations, had nothing to do with Steve Bannon!

What happened last night will have no effect on those races.

I agree. Rope a dope is not a sound strategy for a broke candidate. If you’re not creating your own coverage, then you’re not getting any coverage.

I've been here 20 years, and the circular firing squad of the loseservative cheese-eating surrender monkeys of the GOPee is always ready with their weapons the day after.

Meanwhile, Bob Menendez is still in the US Senate.

Circular firing squad versus circle the wagons.

I'm surprised that Felonia von Pantsuit lost last November.

That’s wishful thinking. The Dems have the template now to beat Trump in the battleground states and an energized base to do it. And all POTUS has is us. His own party doesn’t even support him. A lot of similarities to Moore there, too.

It always comes down to a choice.

In this case the voters in Alabama had the choice between a man accused of inappropriate sexual behavior. His opponent is known to support sexual perversion (homosexuality) and even partial-birth abortion.
