Excepting her bang-up performance at the Gridiron Dinner this month, Sarah Palin has an infamously fraught relationship with the media. On the one hand, frenzied coverage of her memoir ginned up sales. On the other hand, non-stop scrutiny of her clothing choices allegedly ruined a family vacation. There are costs to being constantly in the spotlight. Now she's taken some measures to control the message. Three Alaska bloggers who crossed Palin while she was governor have found themselves banned from attending her book signings. Jesse Gryphen, Dennis Zaki, and Shannyn Moore--plus an unknown fourth--are blacklisted at Palin events. Gryphen tells...

People such as George Soros and Michael Moore certainly talk a good game, but the next Mother Teresa they are not. Mother Teresa never criticized the free-market system; wealth just wasn't for her. Soros and Moore are quite the opposite. They will never take a vow of poverty and dedicate themselves to helping the poor. They just want our civilization to take a vow of poverty and become poor. This has caused many to wonder: How can someone preach socialism while being the most rapacious "capitalist" imaginable? Well, I have a theory about this. It has often been observed that...

HOLLYWOOD PROPAGANDIST MICHAEL MOORE CHALLENGES ALL RELIGIONS TO HAIL “SOCIALISM” by Sherri Kane LOS ANGELES--Hollywood's most successful "independent" documentary film-maker, Michael Moore, has issued a challenge to the religious world to consider American hypocrisy and psychopathology in a mass e-mailing promoting "socialism" and Capitalism: A Love Story. Moore's message, "to those who call yourselves Christians (Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Bill Maherists, etc. . . .) has outraged some observers as grossly hypocritical considering his financial ties to "PharmaMedia" moguls advancing H1N1 vaccines, population controls, and New World Order politics and propaganda. Moore claimed to speak for the first time about his...

Dear President Obama, Do you really want to be the new "war president"? If you go to West Point tomorrow night (Tuesday, 8pm) and announce that you are increasing, rather than withdrawing, the troops in Afghanistan, you are the new war president. Pure and simple. And with that you will do the worst possible thing you could do -- destroy the hopes and dreams so many millions have placed in you. With just one speech tomorrow night you will turn a multitude of young people who were the backbone of your campaign into disillusioned cynics. You will teach them what...

Rep. Dennis Moore (D-Kan.) is set to announce Monday that he will not seek reelection next year, sources confirmed to The Hill. Moore’s exit will pave the way for a tough open seat defense for Democrats, as the six-term incumbent has resolutely held on to a conservative-leaning district that has often frustrated Republicans. Moore, 64, won the seat from one-term Rep. Vince Snowbarger (R-Kan.) in 1998 and has been a target ever since. Despite his perseverance, Republicans believed they had an opening again with Democrats pushing proposals that could be unpopular in the deep red state.

Michael Moore’s latest blockbuster lacks luster. After languishing in theaters for two months, Michael Moore’s anti-capitalism movie, Capitalism: A Love Story, has officially bombed. In its painfully short run of two months, the movie grossed 14.2 million. Approximately 55% of sales make it back to the studio, that leaves eight million to cover production costs and advertising costs, in other words the film has finished in the Red, how appropriate. Moore scored big with Fahrenheit 9/11, it had a 120 million domestic gross. Since then his films have been falling faster than a fat man on ice. Sicko made a...

Gwen Moore, who has sported, in the past, what can only be described as a James Brown look, spouts recently aobut how Pelosi's bill is going to save America and is the answers to everyone's prayers. Same gal who had a 'town meeting' where the public had to submit questions beforehand, only selected questions were to be asked and answered and the first half of it was Gwen lecturing everyone there about how great (at that time) HR3200 was. The woman is a fruitcake and her son is a democrat thug. For the whole series of Zero dollar bills, go...

Controversial filmmaker and author Michael Moore was recently asked to be on the next season of NBC’s The Biggest Loser series. Moore immediately accepted, NBC sent him contracts to lock in his appearance, and Moore signed and returned them by express mail the very next day. However, Moore, who claims he was previously unfamiliar with the show’s concept, has dispatched his legal team to negotiate his release from the contracts with NBC. Moore’s sources revealed to him months ago his nomination for the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize. Being positive he would win the famous award, Moore had already planned to...

Another celebrity romance falls to pieces: By Guy Adams Wednesday, 28 October 2009He's crossed swords, over the years, with all the usual right-wing suspects, from car-makers to gun owners to Wall Street executives, health companies, and George W Bush. Now Michael Moore has picked a fight with a hero of the international left. The documentary-maker has caused outrage among Hugo Chavez's supporters by using a late-night chat show to tell a humorous anecdote about meeting Venezuela's socialist President in a luxury hotel suite during the recent Venice Film Festival . His two-minute yarn, told to ABC host Jimmy Kimmel...

For anyone who strongly identifies with traditional Christianity, the October 6-9 series on Fox News's Hannity, with Sean Hannity interviewing Michael Moore, was rich in irony and vaguely distressing. The occasion was Moore's new film, Capitalism: A Love Story. Two bright, likable, and deeply sincere married men of middle age passionately argued the positions of the liberal Democrats or progressives (Moore) and the conservative Republicans (Hannity). What generated some irony was that both celebrity worldlings revealed themselves to be regular Sunday mass-goers. They viewed their years in Catholic schools warmly and with pride, and readily associated some...

Michael Moore: Take All Your Money Out of Banks and Stocks By Noel Sheppard Created 2009-10-22 13:59 Schlockumentary producer Michael Moore Thursday advised his readers to take all their money out of banks that received bailout funds AND divest themselves completely of American stocks. Such lunacy was posted [1] at Moore's website as part of a list of things he recommends people do "to fight back and try to fix this very broken system." Moore began by listing five truly hysterical demands of the President and Congress: 1. Declare a moratorium on all home evictions. Not one more family should...

We all know that liberals have a very poor opinion of American soldiers, especially those that are currently fighting for our freedoms against the most vile and evil of scum in Afghanistan & Iraq. Well, apparently a liberal Congressman has stooped down to a new low, calling an American hero, "white trash", while attempting to intimidate a Hispanic leader in Kansas' third congressional district to support him instead of Daniel Gilyeat, a disabled Iraq veteran running for the Republican nomination.

As a rule I never trust anyone who uses religion to justify a political philosophy. It’s one thing to argue that faith prohibits voting for a particular law – and accept that your constituents may boot you out as a result – quite another to say one cannot be a member of a certain religion and also a conservative, liberal or socialist. So I’m not remotely surprised to find that every political juvenile’s favourite film maker, Michael Moore, is using Christianity to attack capitalism. As The Observer reports: Alongside the political arguments about inequality, Wall Street corruption and the failures...

Promoting Capitalism: A Love Story, Michael Moore is beating the drum of his Catholicism in a way that he hasn't previously. Check out this clip from Moore's appearance last night on Sean Hannity's TV show. When Hannity suggests possible political labels for Moore, the filmmaker responds: "Christian." Then Moore quizzes the Fox News host, a fellow Catholic, on the last time he's been to mass. Trying to out-church him, Moore implies that Hannity is fibbing about having attended mass last weekend. It's no accident that Moore's new openness about his religious faith is coming now, after the Democratic Party has...

Here is the first part of Sean Hannity's conversation tonight with liberal Michael Moore, where Hannity confronted Michael Moore about why he is so against capitalism when it was capitalism that made it possible for "Capitalism: A Love Story" to be made. "The capitalist system allowed you to get here," Hannity insists. "No, it didn't," Moore replied. NOTE: We'll post the rest of this interview when it becomes available. . . (VIDEO)

Documentary film director Michael Moore, who has become a millionaire thanks to the profits from his movies, told CNSNews.com that “capitalism did nothing” for him. CNSNews.com spoke with Moore on the red carpet at the Uptown Theatre in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday night before the premiere of his upcoming documentary, “Capitalism: A Love Story." CNSNews.com asked: “Critics may say, when they see this movie, Michael Moore has amassed a fortune of over $50 million, some have said and –” Moore said: “Really? Are you kidding me? Seriously? Wow. Where did it go?”

Washington (AP) -- Just moments after delivering a fiery address to the government watchdog group Public Citizen in Washington yesterday, documentary filmmaker Michael Moore, director of three of the five highest-grossing documentaries of all time, clutched at his abdomen, groaned loudly, and steadied himself on a nearby railing. All of what followed is still unclear, although witnesses say...

Liberals have oft exalted communist Cuba’s “free” health care system. Isn’t it wonderful? Why can’t we do that? Of course, for one thing, the “free” system in Cuba isn’t nearly so wonderful as “Sicko” Michael Moore made it in his propaganda film. Frankly, I wouldn’t take my dog to a Cuban hospital. It isn’t just Michael Moore; CNN depicted the Cuban system as a model for America, too.

CNN’s Larry King fawned over Michael Moore during an hour-long interview on his program on Wednesday, calling the leftist’s latest feature “a brilliant documentary,” and went on to label the director “our number one propagandist.” King encouraged all of his viewers to see Moore’s “Capitalism: A Love Story,” which was released in New York City and L.A. earlier that day. The CNN anchor led his 9 pm Eastern program with his gush over the apparent magnificence of Moore and his latest documentary: “I’ve seen this movie, and I’ll tell you, whether people agree or disagree with it- and there will...

If you follow the daily ins & outs of the political world, you will be familiar with two common sayings among the bases of both major political parties : Republican In Name Only - RINO. Democrat In Name Only - DINO. Republicans will point at Senator Olympia Snowe as a Republican In Name Only, and Democrats will point at former Georgia Senator Zell Miller as a Democrat In Name Only. While the political bickering is fun, which I succumb to at times, I have a new INO to showcase to the world.American In Name Only - AINO.

Venice, Italy - At one point during a news conference with Michael Moore at the Venice Film Festival, it was alleged that in some countries, distributors of his latest film were charging journalists hefty fees for the privilege of interviewing him. THR: What's the last movie you saw? The last book you read? Moore: A Norwegian film called "Troubled Water." Best drama I've seen this year. The last book was "The Coming Insurrection" (a French leftist call-to-arms manifesto that has been labeled a "manual for terrorism" by the French government). I'm also reading the daily newspaper religiously, considering how there won't be any to read a year from now.

Director Michael Moore now wants nothing less than the complete overthrow of the modern capitalist system. Moore’s long-awaited film, which will open in L.A. and New York on Sept. 23 and nationwide on Oct. 2, is in part his post-mortem on the global financial system crash that began a year ago this month with the collapse of brokerage Lehman Bros. But the film takes on much more than the usual cast of blood-sucking bankers to make the case against capitalism, delving into unrewarded worker productivity, vultures who make their living off foreclosed homes and horror stories from a privately...

VENICE (Reuters) - Capitalism is evil. That is the conclusion of U.S. documentary maker Michael Moore's latest movie "Capitalism: A Love Story," which premieres at the Venice film festival on Sunday. Blending his trademark humour with tragic individual stories, archive footage and publicity stunts, the 55-year-old launches an attack on the capitalist system, arguing that it benefits the rich and condemns millions to poverty.

Staff Workers Say Man Stopped Short Of Threatening Congressman KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Staff workers for U.S. Rep. Staff workers said a man called Moore's Overland Park office on Aug. 6 and was angry, rude and raised his voice in a threatening manner, but stopped short of threatening the congressman. The man brought up several issues on the call, including health care, according to Moore's office.

In a tweet yesterday, Amanda Carpenter alerted us to another example of the close relationship between Democrats and leftwing bloggers intent on destroying Governor Palin: "Anti-Palin blogger cites close ties with "Dem leadership in AK" while angling for a Netroots scholarship." The Anti-Palin blogger is Shannyn Moore, and here's what she wrote: " I am in contact daily with Democratic leadership in Juneau."

If Sarah Palin decides to go ahead with a defamation suit against blogger Shannyn Moore, who wrote that the Governor resigned because she was under criminal investigation, it may give others who have been defamed the courage to go after other bloggers who can be accused of "malice" in creating unfounded rumors about them on the Internet. Should Palin sue Moore, it could mean thousands of dollars of legal fees in order to defend herself. It might send a message to other bloggers who can be accused of using "malice" in defaming public figures. (See an explanation below.) Palin's attorney...

RUMORS WRONG: Agent rebuts circulating allegations cited by Anchorage blogger. The FBI is taking the unusual step of declaring that Gov. Sarah Palin is not under investigation, as Palin herself left for Western Alaska and communicated to the world through her Twitter account. "We are not investigating her," FBI spokesman Eric Gonzalez said on Sunday. "Normally we don't confirm or deny those kind of allegations out there, but by not doing so it just casts her in a very bad light. There is just no truth to those rumors out there in the blogosphere." Palin has ignored requests for an...

The flap with Shannyn Moore is over remarks the liberal blogger made about why Palin is quitting her job as governor ... Palin, through her lawyer, on Saturday threatened to explore "legal options" against Moore and media outlets that choose to republish like-minded "false and defamatory allegations" about Palin's resignation. Lawyer Thomas Van Flein said that soon after Palin's surprise announcement, several unscrupulous people "asserted false and defamatory" allegations. Moore is the only person named specifically.

Nugent, the wildman rocker and outdoor enthusiast known as the "Motor City Madman," is far to the right of Moore on the political spectrum and doesn't see government intervention in autos as a particularly good thing. "Left to their own accord and entrepreneurial enterprise, I am confident the U.S. auto industry would have outperformed all others. ... Now that Fedzilla has had the audacity to turn up the havoc-wreaking, criminally violating the U.S. Constitution and all parameters of logic and decency, it appears the death knell has sounded. It breaks my Motor City heart," he said.

Nothing like it has ever happened. The President of the United States, the elected representative of the people, has just told the head of General Motors -- a company that's spent more years at #1 on the Fortune 500 list than anyone else -- "You're fired!" I simply can't believe it. This stunning, unprecedented action has left me speechless for the past two days. I keep saying, "Did Obama really fire the chairman of General Motors? Holding signs reading "Stimulate Business, Not Government," "Families Against Porkulus" and "Say No To Generational Theft," protesters opposed to the $787 billion stimulus package have been mobilizing across the country. That was followed by another one in Mesa, Ariz., where Obama unveiled a mortgage rescue plan. Another protest was planned for Saturday outside the office of Rep. Dennis Moore in Overland Park, Kan. Michael Moore may wind up in court with a prize-winning journalist who claims the mountain-size moviemaker ripped off his most famous photo to use in a George W. Bush-bashing rant. If you were to rely solely on the "press release journalists" at L.A.'s newspapers and TV stations -- i.e., faux reporters who merely reprint or re-broadcast City Hall's press releases and press conferences without any independent analysis -- you might think Villaraigosa has made tremendous progress in reducing crime. Villaraigosa and Bratton have held self-congratulatory press conferences because crime is down 2.5% this year. The press release journalists simply transmit the information and wait for the Mayor to deliver the next item of “news,” like “Arts Month,” for example. If there were a real press corps in this town, however,...

Leftwing filmmaker Michael Moore suggested that the financial difficulties of the Big Three US automakers be ended by government expropriation of the firms. “Investors in these companies have already lost 90 percent of the money they put in,” Moore asserted. “Government expropriation would be a ‘mercy killing.’” In addition to relieving investors of their last 10 percent of value, Moore contended that government ownership and operation would “help unify the nation’s highway transportation system, since government already owns the roads. We could put an end to traffic congestion like they have in Cuba.” Moore also argued that “government could ensure...

Rudy Ray Moore, whose standup comedy, records and movies related earthy rhyming tales of a vivid gaggle of characters as they lurched from sexual escapade to sexual escapade in a boisterous tradition, born in Africa, that helped shape today's hip-hop, has died at 81 . . . Mr. Moore called himself the Godfather of Rap because of the number of hip-hop artists who used snippets of his recordings in theirs, performed with him or imitated him. These included Dr. Dre, Big Daddy Kane and 2 Live Crew . . . Most critics refrained from overpraising the Mr. Moore's film, "Dolemite,"...
