A Military helicopter captured the incredible footage in November 2014 during a routine coastal patrol.
The craft spotted in broad daylight was filmed using the choppers infrared camera.
The UFO can be seen hovering in the clouds before appearing to give off some sort of gas as it moves along.
The pilots tracked the craft from around 40 miles away and tried several times to communicate with it.
After receiving no response, they reported it to a pair of nearby radar stations.
But shockingly, neither of them were able to see it on their screens despite being able to detect the navy choppers.
Air traffic controllers also confirmed that no aircraft had been authorized to fly in the area where the craft was sighted, according to the Huffington Post.
Chilean government agency the CEFAA, which investigates UFO sightings, has been probing the incident for two years.
But after examining the footage and quizzing the pilots, air traffic controllers, and radar operators, CEFAA are still stumped as to what the object is.
General Ricardo Bermúdez, Director of CEFAA during the investigation, said: We do not know what it was, but we do not know what it was not.
Speaking after interviewing the airmen, Bermúdez added: I was very impressed by these witnesses.
They were highly trained professionals with many years experience, and they were absolutely certain that they could not explain what they saw.

*Klingon bird of prey. Things gotta have a tailpipe, right?*
It’s the ROMULANS! they want you to think it is was the Klingons, but you have been deceived! It was always the ROMULANS!
P.S. overdue for my meds... Live Long, And prosper!
It’s not aliens, and it’s not humans.
There’s so much evidence that it’s a supernatural phenomenon including abductions but people won’t accept that. So it’s aliens.
Actually the Chilean military is very professional, well trained and equipped.
I would back them against most European military with the exception of the UK.
“The craft”.
Even if it were swamp gas, these things are always referred to as a “craft”.
Looks like the firecracker powder trails used for Ming’s ships in the Buster Crabbe Flash Gordons.
My first thought was the flying Amazon warehouse I read about.
Maybe delete306 thinks that people from Chile are stupid because they’re not the kind of people who’d elect someone like Barack Hussein Obama - TWICE!!! By golly - they’re not Americans who are so well trained that they turn over heavily armed Naval vessels to Iranians in bass boats!
Totally agree with your post.
For far too long “science” and media have denied even the existence of demonic activities in the outer stretches of space.
I’m convinced it’s all part of the strong delusion of Revelation.
Every single abductee that I’ve read that escapes that even thinks “Jesus” (His name) is astoundingly released. Now what entities would get wounded by the name of God’s only Son?
I’ve recently arrived at the same conclusion. VERY demonic.
I could go along with the spiritual/demonic forces thing. Interestingly, as one with a science background I find huge difficulties with space travel. But as a Christian the spiritual aspect is one that I can grasp.
That makes sense, if hotter objects appear darker on that infrared video.
At really long range all you pick up is the major contrast of the parts actually generating the heat. The camera being used is a Wescam, from Canada, although you can’t tell the model from the video. I don’t have a lot of experience with those, have mostly used FLIR products. Assuming it was something made in the last 10 years, to see just dots like that means it is really far away, even for foreign users.
I don’t think they are just demonic. I think there are angelic benign ones flying around as well.
I’ve tried finding evidence or even a story of that claim that invoking the name of Jesus will stop an abduction event. But I can’t find any. Just people claiming it.
I also believe the government knows this and they are happy with us believing they are aliens.
Physical evidence of angels or demons would totally make the world go batshit crazy. Physical evidence of ETs? Not so much.
Looks like you've solved the mystery.
However, aliens won the popular vote.
Could be worse. We upgraded cameras at my previous office and two guys called in that they spotted two jet skis trying to cross the border (smuggling). Turned out it was two ducks.
