At really long range all you pick up is the major contrast of the parts actually generating the heat. The camera being used is a Wescam, from Canada, although you can’t tell the model from the video. I don’t have a lot of experience with those, have mostly used FLIR products. Assuming it was something made in the last 10 years, to see just dots like that means it is really far away, even for foreign users.
