A set of 50 flint tools has been discovered in Barranc de la Boella, near Tarragona, a city 80 kilometres south of Barcelona. The tools are estimated to be between 800,000 and a million years old... Co-director of the excavation and researcher at IPHES, Josep Vallverdú, stated that the site contains the oldest files on human evolution in Catalonia and on the Iberian Peninsula, of which the potential is still unknown. These tools were found in an area known as La Mina, and are supposedly very well preserved, along with animal skeletal remains and coprolites, most notably related to deer, horses, cattle, rhinoceros, and even hyenas...
The age of the tools is estimated to be between 800,000 and one million years old.. Also recovered were a large number of hyena coprolites, and among the skeletal remains of large animals also found were several large fragments of deer antlers and the femur of a rhinoceros, of the same age as the tools...
As for the remains unearthed in this campaign, the presence of a wide range of taxa (deer, horses, cattle and rhinoceros) stands out, according to IPHES, providing an interpretation based on the paleo-ecological river ecosystems and the Francolí delta basin.

Power drill and band saw?
“Still believe it is wiser to think in terms of a few thousands of years”
Have you ever noticed what was created during the delineated six day period? Only life forms. The water and lands were only rearranged.
I've never been one to put much faith in the carbon dating method. They have done tests on objects they know the actual age of and the results have been way off.. There are tons of articles out there that show there are very serious flaws in the system that are written by scientists themselves.
This is a problem I have with a bazillion finds.
A Father’s Day gift from the kids...
“Waters and lands have been “rearranged” in times of colossal cataclysms since man first appeared full-hatched.”
Yes, but in Genesis 1, there was nothing living when it all started. Only a water submerged planet. That was not its original state.
Some theologians think it was destroyed in Satan’s rebellion. He was in charge here, at the time.
I wonder if the warranty is still good.
worst job in anthropology....... coprolitist
Snap-On tools.
Yes, they’re just that durable.
Have you noticed that every one of the days ends with ‘and the morning and evening were the Nth day’
All of them save the seventh, which apparently hasn’t ended.
God’s still resting, which might explain the current state of the world...
That's exactly what I'm talkin about...
Knapping a million year old flint exposes fresh surfaces to weathering and the elements (ground water, etc.) start to alter the surface.
The thicker the weathered layer, the longer the tool was exposed to the elements, and the older it is.
This gives a rough estimate of the age of the tool.
It’s called Grant Money. As long as there is “CONFLICT”, the money flows.
Agreed. If man was making tools one million years ago, he would have dominated the earth and his population would have exploded. Reverse population growth trends and their is no way you have man maintaining a very small population for a million years only to explode in the last few thousand.

They were never taught to check their math in elementary school. And have no common sense to compare an answer with. With slide rules, you had to understand the number.
