A Georgia teacher was yanked from the classroom after telling students President Obama was an anti-Christian Muslim, school officials said.
Parents complained in February that teacher Nancy Perry tried to persuade the middle schoolers Obama is lying about his religious beliefs and it was wrong to support him.
“If your parents voted for Obama, they're evil and I don't see how your parents could vote for someone that's Muslim,” Perry allegedly said, parent Jimmie Scott told WMAZ.
The idea that Obama is a closeted Muslim, born in Kenya remains a popular conspiracy of critics on the far right wing, even though the claims have long been debunked.
When the disgusted parents met with Perry, she tried to defend her loony position with “propaganda from the Internet,” Scott told the station.
Perry’s husband, who is a school board member, also attended the meeting, Scott said.
Perry won’t teach the rest of the year and will then retire, Dublin City Schools Superintendent told reporters in a statement.

I tend to agree with most everything she said.
Her students will in the not too distant future remember they had a teacher who told them the truth about Obama and got yanked from the classroom for doing it. They’ll also come to realize their own parents must have been deaf, dumb, and blind not to realize what was going on in their own country.
Was alcohol involved? Sounds like this teacher was hitting the bottle at the morning break, like many of my shop teachers did.

I have no idea what the woman thinks or believes, but we need people in the school system to speak out, rise up, and reject anti-Christian dictates of the elites.
Speak out ! Teach children that they must seek the truth and turn away from lies !
Pray that God will produce a Christian revival.

I agree with her. Unfortunately we don’t have a lot of proof of her (and my) position.
I don’t think it’s proper for a teacher to foist political opinions (from either end of the spectrum) on a classroom full of kids. (the umm, ummm, ummm chant was beyond the pale when it happened). But being yanked from the classroom seems a bit extreme, particularly when there is no punishment (indeed there are often rewards) when the teacher is indoctrinating kids with left-wing propaganda.
