The 9-year-old boy fatally stabbed in a Michigan playground on Monday spent his dying breaths telling his brother he loved him and re-assuring him that the shocking attack wasn’t his fault, a family member has revealed.
Michael ‘Connor’ Verkerke was playing with two of his brothers and another boy Jamarion Lawhorn, 12, who pulled out a knife and repeatedly stabbed Connor.
The boy's great-uncle Jim Stearns told MLive that the horrific incident had left the family ‘absolutely numb’.

Enter fox17online.com in your address bar and click on the top “popular story,” “Neighbor of 12-year old ...”. Listen to the very interesting remarks and imagery of the neighbor, then pay close attention at 2:33 of the video. I stop it then double click ( start, stop ) a few times and I can freeze it on an apparent “perp” shot. Hasn’t anybody else seen this? I keep expecting it to be taken down any minute. Of course I just checked that it’s still there.
BTW, the “I want to die” stuff makes sense to me. He just wanted to make a statement, and make everybody else sorry about his situation, too. It makes sense to me.

The perp is a black kid, the victim is white. At the end of one of the articles I read it said this:
“Because of the nature of comments being left on this post comments have been disabled”
My guess is that most of the comments had a racial bent and that is why the comments were disabled. And my guess is that Whitey is getting more and more enraged by black on white crime, even if by juveniles, and are increasingly verbalizing it even as the MSM tries to cover such incidents up.
12-year-old charged as an adult. I bet some judge will kick this case down to juvie court.
Races notwithstanding (as most crimes committed are black on black and white on white), the twelve year old attacker asked to be taken in because he didn’t want to be on this earth any longer. What leads to this despair in a child?

This stuff never happened 30 or more years ago. Its sad to see how children are so screwed up.
Unfortunately, it did, it just didn't make national news. There was a young boy in my hometown of Nampa, ID, who was killed in much the same way. Church parking lot, full of mounds of snow after scraping. Kids playing. Older white kid stabs younger white kid to death. IIRC, winter of '79/'80 or '80/'81. I lived two blocks from it. I had just played in that same parking lot with friends a few days prior.
It is a lot more common now though, with immorality being the accepted norm
