Late to the thread - but your list is impressive (even tho’ I’m not on it).
Wish there was a Member list on FR’s home page - some folks use weird combinations of upper & lower case and they slip out the memory hole.

FR has truly lost some of its decorum and delicacy.
I thought the rule was: If you mention another FReeper in your post - you are supposed to ping that person.
It’s clear we need to return to the days of dedicated and assertive thread nannies. Howlin knew how to herd cats.

you are correct. However that rule can be overlooked on those occassions when the party of the 1st part is saying something NICE to the party of the 2nd part about the party or parties of the 3rd part.
And secondarily on those ocassions wherein the party of the 1st part doesn’t want the party of the 2nd part to feel obligated to return the compliment.
And i’ll stop there because this is starting to sound like a post on the ANS thread.

I am so dang old, I can’t remember anything, especially names. Can someone help me with the name of an English Freeper? I think Ivan was part of his freeper handle. I always looked forward to his posts as they gave me an insight into the British view of our politics. Also, there was a Freeper who did a lot of research on Obama’s ancestry and history who hasn’t posted lately. Name, anyone? I think either he or his wife was quite ill.
I’ve gotta spend some time on this answer, MNJohnnie, but you’ll be the first to know who my favorites are. I don’t post much anymore, but I’m honored to be on your list.
