Reminder - no post tomorrow or Thursday - carpel tunnel surgery. May be limited for a while after that for recovery.

Relax, rest, heal, and pace yourself - things are going to get worse the closer we come to the election - a time you'll be needed even more.

Well, surgery went fine, but it’ll be a while before i get this brace off, so limited typing capability. Will continue with summaries for the moment.

Globalism / Great Reset –
Upcoming meetings of importance
- WHO pandemic ‘treaty’ May 2024

The WHO has put out an alert to more closely monitor dairy cattle in response to the latest bird flu outbreaks. Some are thinking that this could be a harbinger to them calling to cull the herds (like they cull poultry ) to control the spread.

CW2 / Domestic violence - Heightened THREAT

I can’t type a lot of the details here that I’d like, but the past few days have been rather dynamic on the pro-hamas campus takeovers and resulting fallout.

Police have pretty much moved in and the major encampments cleared out. In some instances, radical elements that escaped circled back to try to reestablish camps after police presence went away, but were relatively countered quickly. Some actions on private campuses with uber liberal administrations are still hanging around.

It also has become apparent that the standard groups of leftist shell organizations used by Soros have been the source of funding. If anyone looked at all the plywood alone used at UCLA , we are talking thousands of dollars just in that alone.

Arrests across most of the campuses indicate that a majority of the riot participants were not students, but outsiders. Further examination indicates that many had prior arrests for participation in the 2020 Floyd riots. All antifa affiliated.

Further finger prints of Antifia essentially taking over the encampments is the tactics used. One of the obvious ones was the umbrella shield technique. But more elaborate organization has come out in how the protestors were organized. There were specially designated “combat” elements identified while others - congregated around camp supplies. Elements were also seen using the off the shelf GMS/FRMS walkie talkies to coordinate - thought being that they were concerned over losing cell connections as well as monitoring. However, those little hand helds are very easily intercepted and they don’t have a clue that the ‘privacy’ channels don’t work the way they think they do. I have the software and equipment that could have effectively monitored their comms - on the cheap.

In an interesting note has been the rise of fraternities and other to directly and in some instances physically oppose the pro-hamas mobs. A group of a couple hundred laid siege to the UCLA encampment with bear spray and fireworks (as well as a few well placed punches) following the assault of a female jewish student sent to the hospital for concussions by camp participants. Other, loud counter protests disrupted and in some instances shut down other pro-hamas rallies. This may indicate a potential flash point for future violence as i don’t think the Antifia elements had factored in any such resistance nor the level thereof.

Property destruction to me indicates that Antifa is looking to start more property destruction. One campus leader was quoted saying that they were ready to ‘burn it all down’. This raises concerns for future protests/riots in that they will start destroying campus facilities first then potentially migrate the violence off campus. I think off campus violence is their ultimate goal.

The disarray in this so called movement I see today needs to be monitored closely as the leadership is assessing successes and losses. Participants in some instances totally screwed up their college careers while at the leftist universities like Colombia are looking to grant a form of scholastic amnesty - employers will see the tainted degree and possibly not hire them.

Outside the mind numbed students (some of which had no clue as to what they were protesting), Antifa has not gained any community support that would permit them to expand into the 2020 riot mode. Their PR claims of being poor ‘children’ being starved and beaten have fallen on ridicule.

The risk is very high that Antifa and the leftists will try to generate a false flag event of some kind to relight campus actions. Otherwise, I think the high water mark has been reached and that campus actions will be on the decline otherwise.

The Rasmussen Reports document on that foreboding expectation was released on Thursday.

It said “41% of Likely U.S. voters believe the United States is likely to experience a second civil war sometime in the next five years, including 16% who consider such a scenario Very Likely.”

Not even half, 49%, said they don’t think it’s likely.

Rasmussen said, “Such discussions got a boost after the new movie ‘Civil War’ made its debut as No. 1 at the box office last month. Thirty-seven percent (37%) of voters believe another civil war is more likely to happen if President Joe Biden wins this year’s election, while 25% think another civil war is more likely if former President Donald Trump wins. Thirty percent (30%) say who wins this year’s election will not make much difference in the likelihood of a civil war.”

OBSERVATION - This is the latest of many polls I’ve cited over the past few years indicating that some form of a civil war is on the minds of Americans and growing. The range of thought goes from a ‘civil divorce’ to all out combat. The hard push the past three years by the deep state totalitarians on multiple fronts has served to widen the gap between blue and red and even has started galvanizing red states into a more mutually supporting block against the regime. There are a lot of potential triggers for open conflict - the biggest being activities surrounding the Nov election and the bogus lawsuits against Trump.

FOLKS - the barometer is falling and falling fast. There is a storm coming, just how big is yet to be seen, but has catastrophic potential.

Economy-

Increased unemployment, dropping GDP and increasing inflation. April’s initial economic numbers have given rise to increased concerns that we may be facing stagflation once again. It will take more than just one months worth of data to establish any solid trend. If you’ve followed here I’ve noted economic forecasts all over the board - from hyperinflation, to deflation, to recession/depression as well as stagflation.

***
U.S. employers added just 175,000 jobs in April, falling far short of analysts’ expectations, and the unemployment rate inched higher, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported Friday.
The seasonally-adjusted unemployment rose to 3.9% in April, but analysts had expected it remain at March’s 3.8% level.
Likewise, April’s job growth was well beneath the 243,000 expected and the 200,000 mark threshold dividing high and low growth. Over the prior 12 months, job growth averaged 242,000 per month.
Employment growth in February and March, combined, has been revised downward by a total of 22,000 jobs from BLS’s previous reports.

Russia -

WAR WATCH - into the third year of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine - Feb 24th, 2022

Ukraine –

WEATHER FORECAST – Temperatures highs continue in the 60-70 range with some local highs into the 80s. Scattered periods of rain..

24 HOUR ROUND UP –

Another heavy day of ground fighting with Russian forces pretty well expanding the Ocheretyne breach to the north and south, securing the flanks.

Russia has potentially breached the irrigation canal/river to the east of Chaiv Yar, threatening to break thru the city’s southern margin.

Russia continuing to indiscriminately hammer Kharkiv and Odesa due in part to the degradation of air defenses.

Reports that Russia is moving two divisions from the southern front region around Robotyne to the eastern front to reinforce the offensive as an operational reserve.

Russian advances are being met with heavy casualties and losses. However, Russia has been able to mass enough power to counter Ukraine’s smaller forces in prepared defenses. So far, this winter/spring offensive has captured more territory for Russia than any period after 2022’s initial assaults in Ukraine.

Europe / NATO General –

Eyeing civil unrest in the country of Georgia where a Russia friendly govt is trying to force laws on the masses that they don’t want and it may open up the potential for some degree of russian intervention.

ISRAEL –

Key overnight developments -

- Hamas reportedly approves first phase of ceasefire deal - with conditions

——— FORECAST ————————-

In summary, over the past few days there has been a lot of the ‘standard’ artillery/air attacks across Gaza and Lebanon. What has moved the needle is the speed at which Rafah refugee movement is starting and Israeli preparations for operations there.

The immanency of the operation has gotten Hamas’ attention and they are now playing their PR game dancing around a hostage for ceasefire and criminal release offer. Israel has given them 7 days to accept the offer - Hamas mouthpieces are claiming they are in agreement to some of it - but closer look shows that they are still holding to the hard line with is essentially having Israel surrender. We saw similar Hamas maneuvering before each of Israel’s other major actions in the north and central Gaza. Hamas is maneuvering to be seen as the victim when they reject the terms and get hammered in Rafah.

The anti-Israeli International Criminal Court is threatening to charge Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders with crimes against humanity. The US is weakly opposing their efforts and may be using this as leverage over Netanyahu to conduct the war the way DC wants it to. However, israel’s resolve to end Hamas will not be cowed by this.

We will know by next weekend if Israel is going to execute the operation or if Hamas delay tactics have worked.

FYI - This Sunday night will begin Yom HaShoah, and the remembrance will run through Monday afternoon. Translated literally as “Day of the Catastrophe”, this is Israel’s annual Holocaust Remembrance Day. In the 1930s and 1940s, more than six million Jews lost their lives under the Nazi regime. Of those victims, greater than 1.5 million were children.
At 10:00 on Monday morning, sirens will sound throughout the nation of Israel. At that moment, all people will stop what they are doing and stand in silence for two minutes to honor and remember those who were slaughtered during that horrific time. Places of business will halt their activities. Cars will pull over and their passengers will get out. School classes will pause their instruction. The nation marks the moment never to forget what took place during those dark times.

CW2 / Domestic violence - Heightened THREAT

Students (and probably more than a few professional agitators, as we have learned) at George Washington University held a “People’s Tribunal” putting many of the school’s faculty on symbolic trial and demanding their deaths.

X account Stu Stu Studios posted footage of the scene featuring a girl speaking through a megaphone, leading chants calling out GWU Provost Christopher Bracey and accusing him of assault on top of the support for Israel and Zionism accusations, chanting, “Bracey, Bracey, we see you, you assault students too.”

The girl on the megaphone then accuses GWU’s Board of Trustees of profiteering off the “genocide” of Palestinians, and after the other students loudly proclaim them “guilty,” she yells, “To the guillotine!”

A group of anti-Israel protesters stole the keys to a building at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago campus on Saturday and barricaded themselves inside for several hours, despite being offered amnesty, administrators said.
A group began protesting in the north garden property at the campus before shoving a security guard and taking the keys to a museum, an Art Institute spokesperson told Fox News Digital. They then blocked emergency exits and barricaded the gates, officials said.
The school offered the protesters an alternative location to continue their protest on campus, which was was refused, officials said.

***
At least 25 anti-Israel protesters were arrested at the University of Virginia campus Saturday as authorities tried to clear an encampment, the school said.
Campus police declared an “unlawful assembly” earlier in the day after UVA Police Chief Tim Longo gave a group of anti-Israel protesters near the University Chapel 10 minutes to leave the area.
At 8:15 a.m., officials tried to collect tents and were met with “agitation and chanting” from protesters, the school said in a news release.
“Authorities were again met with agitation, chanting and violent gestures such as swinging of objects,” the school said. “Beginning at around 2:30 p.m., UPD gave the crowd three verbal warnings that an unlawful assembly would be declared if demonstrators refused to leave the area.”

***
A judge in Arizona has rejected a motion to lift the suspension of twenty students arrested during anti-Israel protests at Arizona State University (ASU). The U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona denied the students’ request on Friday, as reported by local outlet ABC 15.
The defendants, who filed a lawsuit against the Arizona Board of Regents, argued that their suspension from ASU was causing “irreparable harm” by preventing them from enrolling in classes. They also claimed that the suspensions violated their First Amendment rights.

https://thelibertydaily.com/judge-slaps-down-motion-anti-zionist-protesters-end/

OVERALL OBSERVATION - Ripples continue in the college campus protests, but it seems the high water has been reached and things are ebbing.
Legal actions are on going and will depend on if the judges are liberal (Soros) activists - meaning no charges, or more legitimate that will hold these protestors accountable. The left PR spin is fully engaged trying to portray them as poor abused children. I really don’t think this view is gaining any traction - only the most brainwashed left would accept this. Your average american knows better.

The real hard leftist calls for the guillotine are more concerning, indicating that violence and even murder are on the books potentially for the riots i expect later this summer, post-political conventions.

Now that most colleges and universities have had or soon will have their commencement exercises and the spring semester/quarter ended, most of these ‘children’ will be breaking for home, reducing the available sheeple for an immediate continuation of riots except by those outsiders (Antifa).

Terrorism - Heightened THREAT as of downgraded APR 20, 2024

At least three synagogues and a museum in New York received bomb threats on Saturday but none were deemed credible by the New York Police Department, a city official and police said.
Manhattan Borough President Mark D. Levine said on X the synagogue bomb threats were “a clear hate crime, and part of a growing trend of ‘swatting’ incidents targeting Jewish institutions.”
“This is a clear effort to sow fear in the Jewish community. Cannot be accepted,” he said.

NOTE - Holocaust memorials begin tonight thru the first part of next week.

Military / Strategic Activity / Deployments –

The Dwight D. Eisenhower CSG has transitioned from the Middle Eastern waters of the U.S. Central Command, where it has been stationed to the eastern Mediterranean Sea.

This strategic move was executed in conjunction with the guided-missile destroyer, USS Gravely, with both vessels navigating through the Suez Canal to reach their new location.

Ukraine –

WEATHER FORECAST – Temperatures highs continue in the 60-70 range with some local highs into the 80s. Scattered periods of rain..

24 HOUR ROUND UP –

Ukrainian air defense shot down 23 of 24 Shahed drones. Kharkiv and Dnipro regions targeted. Ukrainian Military shot down Su-25 aircraft in Donetsk region.

Another heavy day of ground fighting.

Ocheretyne -

Russian forces continue to press westward from Ocheretyne.

Bakhmut / Chasiv Yar -

Heavy fighting continues as Ukraine attempts to seal up the Russia crossing of the canal on the town’s east side and Russia attempts to force northward into the edge of Chasiv Yar.

Outlook —

Russia continues its advances, they have done so with substantial losses of late. Ukraine, besides shortages of ammo, is also facing shortages in manpower. Until now that wasn’t too critical since on defense, conventional wisdom indicates that your opponent must have a 3;1 superiority in manpower. Ukraine offset this by having good, effective artillery support. Now its down to boots on the ground, and Russia has the advantage there.

Expect fighting to continue to focus on the Ocheretyne and Chasiv Yar areas.

ISRAEL –

On Sunday evening, May 5, begins the Israeli holiday known around the world as “Holocaust Remembrance Day”, or “Yom HaShoah” (shoah being the Hebrew word for holocaust).

Key overnight developments -

- Confusion over just what Hamas is accepting as part of the hostage release / ceasefire deal.

——— GENERAL ——————————-

Lest we forget - there are still hostages being held in Gaza.

***

Advisor to the head of the Hamas Political Bureau: The ceasefire in Gaza is linked to responding to our demands.

***
Israel’s military is poised to enter into Rafah, the last major stronghold of Hamas in Gaza, without a deal for the release of the hostages. But Hamas still wants to continue negotiations to end the war.

Israeli troops and tanks continue to gather near Rafah for the expected military operation. Rafah is where many believe the leaders of Hamas, including Yahya Sinwar, are hiding as well as the remaining battalions of Hamas fighters. It’s also thought to be the location of the last remaining hostages.
While Hamas seems to reject the latest ceasefire offer, it apparently wants negotiations to continue, a tactic that could be intended to forestall the Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) Rafah invasion.

But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says they will move ahead with their plans for an assault.
“We will do what is necessary in order to win and overcome our enemies, including in Rafah, in order to secure our future,” Netanyahu pledged.
(Fox News)

***
Israeli officials on Saturday night vehemently denied reports that the government has agreed to end the war against Hamas as part of an emerging hostage deal.

According to the reports, the Biden administration had conveyed guarantees to Hamas that the deal currently being discussed would culminate with a full Israel Defense Forces withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
“Contrary to reports, Israel will under no circumstances agree to the end of the war as part of an agreement to release our hostages,” an official in Jerusalem was quoted as saying by Hebrew-language media.
“The IDF will enter Rafah and destroy the remaining Hamas battalions there—with or without a temporary respite to allow for the release of our hostages,” added the source.

https://israel365news.com/389940/israel-will-under-no-circumstances-end-war-for-hostage-deal/

——— GAZA FRONT ———————————-
IDF continues to strike targets of opportunity across Gaza. Bombing and artillery strikes concentrated in N, Central and S Gaza.

——— LEBANON / HEZBOLLAH——————————-

Continued exchanges of fire between IDF and Hezbollah.

———WEST BANK——————————-

Israeli security forces continues to raid numerous areas, arresting terrorism suspects.

———“ISLAMIC RESISTANCE” ———————————

Houthis claiming that they may begin targeting ships again in the Red Sea.

——— FORECAST ————————-

As I’ve said before, Hamas is wielding the hostages as a tool to thwart and delay Israeli operations. Playing a ‘cooperation’ card while doing a Hans Solo shot under the table. I am not expecting any kind of a deal short of total capitulation by Hamas, which will never happen. They are in martyr mode. They will do what ever it takes to make it look like Israel is the bad guy - and international media will carry the story front page.

Africa general –

Russian military personnel have entered an airbase in Niger that is hosting American troops, after a decision by Niger’s junta to expel US forces from the country.

A senior US defence official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Reuters that Russian forces were not mingling with US troops but were using a separate hangar at Airbase 101, which is next to Diori Hamani international airport in Niamey, Niger’s capital.

Misc of Note –

I noted at the top of the post the relative ‘quiet’. In previous years this would be thunderous noise, but as trends go, bigger ‘events’ are occurring that have raised the sound level far above what it was even a year ago.

So what are the ‘big stick’ items for May?

- WHO finalizes the pandemic ‘treaty’

- Play out of Hamas hostage game and the Israel operation in Rafah

- Disintegration of lawsuits against Trump, and resulting leftist uproar

- biden continues to crash in polls and losing support from historically reliable democrat allies

Even bigger fish are on the horizon for this summer

- Start of the Israel campaign to remove Hezbollah from S Lebanon

- leftist / Antifa attempts to recreate 2020 riots, likely trying to use the political conventions as jump off points

- Further economic turmoil that may provide better sense of what to expect later in the year.

There are others I’m concerned with but with lower potentials for occurring including

- biden declaring a national emergency (insert cause here) to affect the elections

- China moves on Taiwan before the elections

- Terror attacks of varying scale and effectiveness.

So I guess we should be thankful for a little ‘quiet’ because the storm is coming.

Every election cycle is getting worse that the last.

No matter what the outcome of this election, I see a very bad situation.

If Trump wins, the left will lose their collective minds and I expect a great deal of violence and anarchy, making 2016 look tame.

If the democrats complete the steal, they will have a free hand to finish their destruction of this country. Right now they are worried about optics and I see them holding back some. And considering how bold they have been, if this is holding back, it will be hell once they have no reason for restraint.

People need to plan for a really rough few years ahead of us. And that includes prepping to mostly avoid having to put yourself in dangerous situations when even doing something as basic as grocery shopping.

I also see a lot of supply chain disruptions. It would be good to do an inventory at home of things needed to repair and replace parts for cars and tools, etc.

We will be doing a big household stock-up at Costco before Fall. I’m not worried in the least about violence where we live, but if immediate family and/or friends need to crash here, I want to be ready.

While I am reducing the number of tomato & pepper plants this season, we are growing more shelf-stable things like drying beans, winter keeping squashes and popcorn.

I always stock up for winter as who wants to drag supplies in through the snow, ice, or slop?

Or fight the insane crowds who wait until the teeth of the storm to get enough food to last a couple days.

And God knows, if there’s another pandemic lockdown, which it looks like the leftists are planning.

We’re pretty safe where we are, too. For the time being. But don’t have a lot of room to take in family or friends who are looking for refuge.

CW2 / Domestic violence - Heightened THREAT

Apart from some commencement disturbances over the weekend, the campus pro-hamas efforts are definitely on the ebb. Consequences to participants are coming down and the mind-numbed sheeple are getting a dose of reality.

***
Following the money supporting the pro-Hamas demonstrations over the past several months that cumulated in the campus take-overs of recent. The donors include some of the biggest names in Democratic circles: Gates, Soros, Rockefeller and Pritzker, according to a POLITICO analysis.
“Two of the main organizers behind protests at Columbia University and on other campuses are Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow. Both are supported by the Tides Foundation, which is seeded by Democratic megadonor George Soros as well as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and it in turn supports numerous small nonprofits that work for social change. …

Another notable Democratic donor whose philanthropy has helped fund the protest movement is David Rockefeller Jr., who sits on the board of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. In 2022, the fund gave $300,000 to the Tides Foundation; according to nonprofit tax forms, Tides has given nearly $500,000 over the past five years to Jewish Voice for Peace, which explicitly describes itself as anti-Zionist.

Several other groups involved in pro-Palestinian protests are backed by a foundation funded by Susan and Nick Pritzker, heir to the Hyatt Hotel empire — and supporters of Biden and numerous Democratic campaigns….”

Further investigations link Goldman Sachs to the list.
Another - is Lina Khan, Chairwoman of the Federal Trade Commission. To be fair, though, she is an “intellectual” supporter of anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism, not a financial supporter. A sample:

In July 2022, Khan and FTC Commissioner Rebecca Slaughter spoke at an event that was hosted by the [Law and Political Economy (LPE) Project, which supported the pro-Palestinian protesters involved in the encampment at Columbia University].

During this event, the two spoke about “anti-racist antitrust” and how the FTC can “shape markets and economic outcomes.”

https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2024/05/who-is-paying-for-the-protests.php

OBSERVATION - Big biden supporters undercutting the regime - or are they? I’ve noted before a behind the doors conflict between the traditional democrats who support Israel and the radical leftists like the above trying to drive US policy against Israel.

What is shocking is that it is taking Politico to put the funding sources on the front page so to speak - which may also point to the internal struggle between traditional and progressive democrats on the issue.

***
According to an investigation by the Wall Street Journal, activist individuals and groups — some of whose experience goes back to the 1960s — had been helping to plan and train students in protest tactics going all the way back to March 2023.

At Columbia University, student organizers consulted with National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP) as well as Black Lives Matter and other left-wing groups experienced in organizing protests.

As early as October, NSJP was promoting a “day of resistance” with protests at colleges. It appears that the nationwide network of loosely connected radical-left activist groups that activates every time there’s a “cause” to agitate for latched on to the divestment issue promoted by NSJP and ran with it.

https://pjmedia.com/rick-moran/2024/05/04/activist-groups-trained-students-for-months-prior-to-protrests-n4928778

OBSERVATION - This doesn’t totally shock me as it takes planning in advance to try to gin up rioting for the 2024 election season. Anti-Semitism has always been favored by the hard left and it appears that this training/recruiting/planning accelerated with the onset of the Gaza war last October. This ties into the reports that at many protest sites, a significant number of the participants were not students, but hardened Antifa/BLM types.

Wuhan and other “new” Plandemics –

The New York Times is reporting that H5N1 “has acquired dozens of new mutations”, and apparently some of them “may make it more adept at spreading between species”…

The bird flu virus sweeping across dairy farms in multiple states has acquired dozens of new mutations, including some that may make it more adept at spreading between species and less susceptible to antiviral drugs, according to a new study.

A dairy worker in Texas that caught this version of the bird flu did not die, but he did experience “bleeding in his eyeballs”…

“The first image of a Texas farm worker infected with bird flu from a cow shows he suffered bleeding in his eyeballs.”

https://endoftheamericandream.com/the-h5n1-bird-flu-has-acquired-dozens-of-new-mutations-and-authorities-are-really-ramping-up-the-fear-level/#google_vignette

OBSERVATION - To me this is more reporting of a fear mongering manner. The warnings of massive loss of human life is based on versions of the disease from the 2008 time frame - and the virus has undergone significant mutations since then. I continue to see this as a potential threat to force culling of our cattle - to eliminate that area of ‘global warming’ without using the term.

Special Counsel Jack Smith admitted in a court filing that he lied to the court about the classified documents seized from Mar-a-Lago.

In a motion filed late Friday, Jack Smith admitted the FBI messed with the boxes containing “classified” documents they seized from Trump and can’t be sure the order or the placement of the documents.

In a May 1 filing, Walt Nauta’s attorney claimed he had difficulty in cross-referencing materials in classified and unclassified discovery because “certain items in the seized boxes he reviewed were in a different order from where they appear in the scans of the boxes’ contents produced in discovery.”

Jack Smith in his Friday night response admitted the FBI moved the classified documents around.

According to a footnote in the motion reviewed by The Gateway Pundit, the FBI messed with the boxes containing the ‘classified’ documents they seized from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

The DOJ previously assured the Court that the placement of classified documents as originally found had been maintained – THEY LIED!

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/05/president-trump-calls-jack-smith-be-arrested-after/

OBSERVATION - The continuation of this prosecution hangs by a thread. The judge has been very critical of Smith’s handling of the whole affair and may scholars like Dershowitz say it should be thrown out. Lying to the court is a BIG issue in any case, and unreacted discoveries have been ripping Smith’s case apart already. This discovery follows that indicating that the WH and the national archives may have conspired to place documents in Florida to frame trump.

NUCLEAR THREATS –

Kremlin’s spokesperson Peskov - Russia is preparing tactical nuclear weapons drill in a response of escalation by the west, particularly Macron’s words, and statements of British officials, representatives of U.S. senate

Ukraine –

WEATHER FORECAST – Temperatures highs continue in the 60-70 range with some local highs into the 80s. Scattered periods of rain..

RUMINT –
Persistent rumors that the French Foreign Legion has deployed elements to eastern Ukraine. Units designated are known to be experts in tropical warfare - unlikely to be deployed in the eastern Ukraine environment.

24 HOUR ROUND UP –

Ukrainian air defense shot down 12 of 13 Shahed drones. Areas targeted include the Sumy and Dnipro regions. Russian drone attack damaged critical power infrastructure in Sumy.

Ukraine still struggling on all fronts. Overnight Russian Ministry of Defense claimed control over Kotliarivka village of Kharkiv region and Solovyove village west to Avdiyivka

The Russian military reportedly redeployed a battalion of the 76th Airborne (VDV) Division to Kursk Oblast as part of a larger ongoing Russian effort to gather an operationally significant force for a possible future Russian offensive operation against northeastern Ukraine and Kharkiv City. The size of this potential operation at this stage of preparation large enough to hold Ukranian forces in place and prevent redeployment to critical areas of the ongoing Russian offensive.

Britain has reportedly authorized Ukraine to expand the territory that it can use its cruise missiles at - expanding it to Russia.

Outlook —

Russia will maintain the initiative on the ground, continuing to press breakthroughs in the Bakhmut/Chasiv Yar and Ocheretyne regions. Russian missiles will continue to hammer civilian and infrastructure targets in the face of degraded Ukraine air defenses.

France and some of the other European nations are pushing harder to involve their forces in the war in the effort to turn back perceived eventually Russian attacks on other western nations. This is concerning and I’m watching to see if there are any false flags events that happen that could trigger direct on the ground involvement. Right now, many assess the claims of the FFL on the fronts as false - possibly part of a disinformation campaign.

Continued exchanges of fire between IDF and Hezbollah.

About 65 rockets were fired from Lebanon into Israel on Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces said, marking one of the largest rocket barrages from Lebanon since the start of the Mideast war.

——— SYRIA / HEZBOLLAH / IRAN———————————-

Israeli artillery shelled an Iranian-backed militia site in Southwestern Syria which launched several missiles overnight towards the Golan Heights in Northern Israel.

———WEST BANK——————————-

Israeli security forces continues to raid numerous areas, arresting terrorism suspects.

——— FORECAST ————————-

Indicators are that ground operations into Rafah could be a little as hours away, though more likely within a few days. Air strikes preparing the battlefield and IDF pushing to get civilians out of the initial combat areas. Currently, from the map at the link above, it appears that IDF will initially be moving into a lightly populated area south of the town with some initial incursions into the town proper.

Global response will be negative - even in spite of Hamas using designated refugee areas in Rafah to fire mortars/rockets into the Kerem Shalom crossing. Concerning are the reports that biden is withholding ammo because he isn’t getting his way on Israeli policy.

Hezbollah/Iranian positions are relatively muted on the onset of the final major battle to eliminate Hamas. Both have been stung hard by Israel of late and in the case of Hezbollah, Israel continues to hammer leadership and key facilities.

Central / South America General-

Jose Raul Mulino, the stand-in candidate for disqualified former President Ricardo Martinelli, was declared Panama’s president-elect after elections Sunday.

Panama’s electoral authority announced Mulino’s win, after he garnered 34.4% of the votes, with over 85% of the votes counted.

“I promise to the country at this time to put together, to establish, a government of unity as soon as possible,” Mulino said after electoral officials called him to confirm he had won the presidency.

Last year, the country also saw more than half a million people cross the Darien Gap — a thick jungle region — as they tried to reach the US from South America.

Mulino has pledged to end migration through the Darien Gap and to return the economy to its heyday under Martinelli’s previous presidency.

OBSERVATION - This appears to be a more favorable govt toward the US, shifting to the right. More so if Trump is elected. China has exerted considerable control over the country over the past many years and this could begin to allow a shift away.

White liberal 'elties' (like Epstein's friend Bill Gates) must be so proud of the misery they've inflicted on ordinary Americans.

I suggest one of Trump's first acts should be to outlaw private 'security' for elites'. They can depend on the police the same way everyday Americans depend on the police. If that happened assh*les like Bill Gates and George Soros might dial back their evil a notch or two. Maybe they would both go back to buying whores rather than hurting the rest of us.

CW2 / Domestic violence - Heightened THREAT

Pro-hamas / Antifa elements are calling for emergency protests as early as last night (see the Met Gala). These protests are anticipated to spread across major cities in the next few days. Exact nature is not yet certain, but I suspect that a large number will consist of highway blockages and some seizures of buildings.

The tech publication Wired reported Thursday that the Three Percenter, or III%er, militia is again proliferating on Facebook ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

The Three Percenters are a national network of militias, the name being a reference to the fact that only about 3% of colonists took up arms against King George in the American Revolution. The Three Percenters were involved in both the Whitmer kidnap plot and the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill uprising.

However, what Wired didn’t mention in its report is that the Three Percenters were heavily infiltrated by the FBI. In fact, the FBI used the Three Percenters as a front group in the Whitmer plot—going so far as to have its informants run fake III%er Facebook groups.

https://headlineusa.com/the-militia-used-as-an-fbi-front-group-in-2020-is-again-proliferating-on-facebook/

OBSERVATION - One needs to realize the hard fact that the feds have infiltrated most of the more outspoken militia type organizations out there. This was brought to the deadly forefront during the Malheur standoff of many years ago. Casual PERSEC, accepting members at face value is most dangerous. With increasing tensions and emotions as the election nears, it is expected that many will organize in opposition to the violent potential of the leftists to win at all costs. The J6 ‘trials’ show that the deep state will stop at nothing to jail any threats from such militia-like organizations.

A warning to all - even those with prepper support groups - closely screen new members.

Biden had the United States Military Academy’s Black Knights to the White House on Monday to present the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy to them for winning the competition among military academies.

Reading his remarks from the teleprompter -
“We’re also joined bry [slurring] Army’s biggest fans,” Biden said. “Bill and Steve of the..radio show...Crawdads... Countdown to Kickoff.” You can see him struggling to read it and his eyes and body following, moving to his left, as he tried to read it. “

OBSERVATION - I am surprised that he has lasted this long in office. I thought he would be out within a year, but his handlers have kept him drugged up and carefully (until recent) crafted his interactions with the public. He’s not all there upstairs - and he has the nuclear codes. The big question going into November is how long the left will tolerate his increasing self destruction before pulling some kind of effort to swap him out of the candidacy for president?

Russia -

WAR WATCH - into the third year of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine - Feb 24th, 2022

NUCLEAR THREATS –

Russia will perceive the appearance of F-16 jets in Ukraine as carriers of nuclear weapons regardless of their modification - Russian Foreign Ministry

Russia reportedly called in ambassadors of France and Britain to warn them about becoming more involved in the Ukraine conflict, threatening to stoke their capitol cities with nuclear warheads if they crossed Moscow’s ‘red lines’.

Kerch Bridge update –

There is additional evidence that Russia has pretty much discontinued using the bridge to transfer military supplies into Ukraine, relying more on an expanded rail network from Russia into eastern Ukraine. The bridge is a key supply lifeline for Russian forces in Crimea and the southern fronts.

Ukraine –

WEATHER FORECAST – Temperatures highs continue in the 60-70 range with some local highs into the 80s. Scattered periods of rain..

24 HOUR ROUND UP –

Russian channel Fighterbomber reports that the crew of a Russian Su-34 died today, claiming the jet went down in battle.

Ukrainian forces launched successful counterattacks south of Ivanivske near Bakhmut, repelling Russian assaults & pushing them back over 500m, with the use of FPV drones & kamikaze strikes. This attack hits the flank of the salient where Russia is attempting to secure a crossing of a strategic canal southeast of Chasiv Yar.

Outlook —

Though put on the back burner of news due to the Israeli operation in Rafah, fighting on the eastern Ukraine front continues to be fierce.

The counter attack on Russian forces may be indicative of the resupply of arms and ammo reaching Ukraine defenders and the Russians being caught off guard having faced a retreating Ukraine for the past month. Securing exposed flanks may resulting in Russian slowing down its advances. It does not appear that Ukraine has the forces capable of cutting off the Russian salients in the near term, but does indicate that it can make life miserable for them.

Russian rhetoric towards the coming delivery of F-16s is noted, but it currently falls into the often used tactic of escalate to de-esculate tactic. It has been used to try to force western nations to decrease support to Ukraine , one that has not succeeded so far.

A Hamas command and control center located in central Gaza at an active UNRWA location was precisely struck by IAF fighter jets. The location served as a staging ground for multiple attacks on IDF troops and humanitarian aid distribution efforts as well as a weapons supply facility for Hamas terrorists.

Shortly thereafter, Israel initiated its operation to clear out the last Hamas stronghold in Rafah overnight. It quickly pushed into and along the Gaza/Egypt border and took control of the Gaza side of the Rafah border crossing. IDF reports that at least 20 terrorists were killed, 3 Hamas tunnels were destroyed, and a car bomb which was attempting to strike a tank was also destroyed; with Israeli Force suffering no casualties.

The Israel Defense Force has announced that last night’s operation against Eastern Rafah in the Southern Gaza Strip was carried out by forces of the 401st “Iron Tracks” Armor Brigade and the 84th “Givati” Brigade alongside Special Forces Units.

Hamas attempted to stall the operation by claiming to have agreed to an Egyptian peace plan, but that so called plan was shown to be bogus within hours of the operations start.

Part of the Hamas proposal saw a change in previous Israeli demands, with the release of “33 Hostages” by Hamas being changed to “The bodies of 33 Hostages both alive and dead” which possibly indicates that Hamas no longer has even 33 hostages left alive in the Gaza Strip.

Israel has not indicated which direction the operation will move onto next. Current objectives of securing the Gaza/Egypt border seems to be first priority.

***
Egyptian Defense Officials are reporting that the readiness level of military forces, in the Northern Sinai Peninsula near the border of the Gaza Strip, have been raised to Maximum Alert. Israeli Channel 12 News reports that a large group of Gazans tried to enter Egypt last night from Rafah but we’re beaten back by the Egyptian Army.

There are unconfirmed reports that Hamas is planning on blowing up a section of the Egyptian wall to try to facilitate uncontrolled exodus of gazans into Egypt with the goal of hamas fighters trying to blend in with the civilian refugees to escape the IDF.

——— LEBANON / HEZBOLLAH——————————-

Continued exchanges of fire between IDF and Hezbollah.

———WEST BANK——————————-

Israeli security forces continues to raid numerous areas, arresting terrorism suspects.

———INTERNATIONAL ——————————-

Calls by multiple nations for an unconditional ceasefire by Israel and a stop to the Rafah operation.

——— FORECAST ————————-

I expect a temporary pause today as IDF consolidates their gains, sweeps for tunnels and isolated terror groups before moving onto their next objective.

IMHO, I expect that one main thrust will be to continue to secure the border zone ( a northwesterly direction) with Egypt. This would keep the Egyptians happy by Israel stopping any attempts for refugee breakout that the Egyptian military would have to otherwise deal with. Then Israel will pivot to the northeast and pincer in from Israel with additional forces moving to the NW. This will still allow refugees to flee to designated safe zones. Waiting additional Israeli warnings to escape imminent operations just like the one that preceded the overnight operations.

Hamas tried to play the hostage card, but over played their hand. First targeting a relief supply entrance with rockets/mortars, then refusing to negotiate a deal, then at the last minute claiming to ‘agree’ to some proposal Israel hadn’t seen, then realizing they had conjured up the ‘plan’ out of thin air.

I seriously doubt there will be any kind of a ceasefire / hostage agreement now. Hamas apparently doesn’t have the leverage any more. The international community will cry for a ceasefire but at this stage it will fall on deaf ears, particularly since this same international community has been silent over the Hamas retaining and treatment of hostages so far.

Iran / Hezbollah and the “Islamic Resistance” have been relatively silent so far concerning the Rafah operation. I think Iran has pretty much written off Hamas as a combat force and will only offer lip service levels of support . Hezbollah faces a more immediate concern as Israel continues to bleed it dry thru a thousand cuts. I think Hezbollah is falling into the dangerous ‘fighting the last war’ mindset and is having difficulty adjusting to the new Israeli mentality of fighting, exhibited in part by the actions in Gaza. This has been made worse thru the losses of so many key leaders in Hezbollah and IRGC. Again, I don’t see Israel pivoting north for the next several month, or at least until they have a good handle on the Rafah operation. That doesn’t mean that Hezbollah isn’t capable of launching a preemptive strike, but by all appearances Israel is ready for that contingency.

Saudi Arabia –

A lot of rumors that the crown prince faced an assassination attempt, but those rumors appear to be false.

Misc of Note –

So many threat vectors coming together that it is becoming hard to track them. Any one of them could be triggered at any time, with secondary effects causing adjacent vectors to trigger. The magnitude of such a ‘perfect storm’ scenario are staggering. Unless there is some kind of divine intervention (and no, I do not necessarily believe Trump is that intervention at this go round), things are being put into place that will spin apart and do so quickly.

In using the information that I scan and relay to you in these posts for my own preparedness, options are running low. Most of the “traditional” preparedness advice for TEOTWAWKI may not be sufficient. Hard news and hard on the normalcy bias, even here in the Redoubt where many of the impacts will be diluted but still hit with the force of an after shock.
My recommendation - reinforce the basics - water, food, comms, medical/sanitation, security, etc. And do so as quickly as possible.

I remember WAYYY back when, in the late 1990's, when I was with the Western New York militia. There was a guy who ran things who, in retrospect, was obviously FBI. There was also a woman who orbited him, who also in retrospect was obviously a female agent.

One of the guys in the group began altering firearms to include illegal 'fun switches'. Well wouldn't ya know! He got raided and caught some Federal charges! What a coinky-dink!
