We will be doing a big household stock-up at Costco before Fall. I’m not worried in the least about violence where we live, but if immediate family and/or friends need to crash here, I want to be ready.

While I am reducing the number of tomato & pepper plants this season, we are growing more shelf-stable things like drying beans, winter keeping squashes and popcorn.

I always stock up for winter as who wants to drag supplies in through the snow, ice, or slop?

Or fight the insane crowds who wait until the teeth of the storm to get enough food to last a couple days.

And God knows, if there’s another pandemic lockdown, which it looks like the leftists are planning.

We’re pretty safe where we are, too. For the time being. But don’t have a lot of room to take in family or friends who are looking for refuge.
