Body identified as Sharon Lee Gallegos of New Mexico
YAVAPAI COUNTY, AZ — Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of “Little Miss Nobody,” a young girl who remained nameless for more than six decades after her killing.
The formerly nameless homicide victim whose body was found 62 years ago, was identified as Sharon Lee Gallegos of New Mexico, officials said Tuesday morning at a press conference in Prescott.
Gallegos had reportedly been abducted from the alley behind her home in Alamogordo, New Mexico, on July 21, 1960, when she was 4 years old.

Thead last week before name release.
Some were blaming the parents ‘since she was not reported missing’.
Now we know thar she was reported missing.
I have a niece who was kidnapped and raped while returning back home from grade school to my moms house. The guy was out on appeal of her rape case and he kidnapped and killed another girl. It took a long while to see the bastard die with the needle but he is gone. We lived in Roswell so the coincidental ties to this story are hair raising.
For what it is worth, Delta 21... I am so sorry what happened to your niece. I can’t even imagine how her parents didn’t go insane afterwards. I am imagining something like that NEVER leaves them.
Whoever murdered Little Miss Sharon is likely dead and suffering a far worse fate than any mankind could inflict.
More about the family from the time Sharon went missing would be interesting.
Perhaps you should share the details with those working this case.

Sharon’s body was found over 500 miles from where she was abducted.
Sharon’s abduction and murder are now federal crimes.
You should contact the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office in Prescott and mention that case. They would still like to identify suspects even though he is dead.
May she finally rest in peace.
Horrifying.
Any surviving parents siblings and cousins, etc. should be/have been notified. Perhaps it will provide some small comfort.
So sad. Too sad to comment.

The family was notified on Friday, per one of Sharon’s sister sons at the news conference. I missed part of his response because of the poor audio but I think he said her sister was alive and living in Germany.
Thanks
People that engage in this kind of crime ought to be the ones getting down on their knees every night and pray there is no Hell.
No child should ever be named a nobody.
Agreed. Horrifically sad.
