Beretta Tomcat, .32ACP; my other one is a .40 Smith M&P Shield.
Glock 26 here and a Sig Saur 45.
I have no idea where my brain or mind has went. I can only say I have been very busy where I am currently working and the synapses were not firing very well.
It was not Taurus, it was Kel-Tec. I visited the Kel-Tec site in Florida near Cocoa Beach, and bought a Kel-Tec P-32.
I have been meaning to swing back there, once I return to the states, and get the spring adjusted.
That will be a staple once people can get them.
LOL my sentiments exactly! Taurus? I don’t think Brazilian cops will carry them.
Ditto that...
The Taurus PT-111 they describe must be an updated version. My wife’s (which is about 20 years old) has a 10 round magazine and is double-action only.
Wish the 238 was double action.
It would be larger no doubt, offsetting its desirable characteristics.
What ever happened to the pocket Colt or the pocket Mauser? They all have the same function. Isn’t it a case of aesthetics? The oldies worked as well. I prefer machined metal over re-enforced plastic. 9mm Luger round works fine. I was surprised to see how light a surplus Makarov was. I guess the new light weight models were made for women?
Remember these two, the good guy and the villain pistols.

Best carry handgon ees Makarov pistol. Ees heavy so never forget you carry gon. Open beer bottle with magazine. Designed by geenius Nikolai Fyodorovich Makarov. Bullet ees just beeger than running capitalist dog bullet. Serve as commissar, and Soviet Socialist Republics geev you bullets for free, one way or nother.
Kydex.
Custom molded to your gun and body.
With or without a paddle.
Some like a paddle...I do not...but it will lessen the tendency to have a "Bubba Sheriff" walk, as in when the gun pulls the belt away and down and makes one walk like the archetypal fat-ass redneck sheriff caricature.
But if your body type is conducive to it, as in your belt actually holds your pants up with help from your hips...then the paddle is not really needed.
There are a LOT of custom makers that frequent the gun shows and will make a holster on the spot, using YOUR gun (if you have no problems with it getting pretty hot) in the mold or a "Blue" gun that you specify.
Try it.
Runs about 60 bucks or so, but for a larger carry, it is priceless in what it does.
And it makes a smaller gun even more user-friendly.
But only when I leave NJ on travel.
Yep. Bought mine when they first came out. The accuracy is outstanding. Those extended mags fit the hand beautifully and don't make a whole lot of difference in conceal-ability.
When the snow finally melts off my backyard shooting range I'm going to show it some love and put another 100 rounds through it. Love that little gun! It goes with me everywhere.
Not to mention that tiny little square steel piece that floats around in the keltec’s mechanism...and then makes a getaway run when you disassemble the gun. I usually find it in my lap or under the table.
Currently carry a sig p938. Front pocket desanti nemesis holster. I wear jeans from Duluth trading company. They have extra deep pockets and the pockets are made of a canvas like material. Pistol disappears in them, at worst it looks like another cell phone. I always carry my keys to the outside of the pistol to break up the outline in the pocket. I use to carry the keltec p3at. It failed on me after a couple of thousands rounds. Never had any problem with the sig, no failures to feed or eject and extremely accurate. Can’t wait to try the new p365, although I understand it is having some teething problems and shipments are delayed.
I rotate between a 5 shot SW wheel gun and a Walther 380. I also carry speed loader with 5 shot and extra mag for 380.
Great summary.
