I did not watch one live game this year. I watched Dallas six times on tape, none since November.

This is a 95% decrease for me. I didn’t watch one SNF, one TNF or one MNF game, and just a couple of years ago I’d watch 3 games on Sunday, one on Monday and one on Thursday, and even have the DVR going on Sunday too.

Ha! I haven’t watched since 1971 .<

1971, the answer to a nice trivia question.

In one year, two professional sports franchises for one city, lost the championship game, and a third franchise lost one game short of the championship. Name the teams and the city.

Baltimore Orioles lost to the Pittsburgh Pirates in the World Series.

Broadway Joe Namath and the Jets beat the legendary Johnny Unitas and the Colts.

And in the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Baltimore...

wait for it...

Bullets.

What I remember the most about 1971 was that was the year Chuck Hughes dropped dead on the field against the Bears.

Stopped watching the NFL on the first pre-season game when the Browns players took a kneel at the opening Pledge of Allegiance. I instantly turned it off and refuse to watch anything done by he NFL until they fire every player and staff member who knelt. Since it never happened, I wrote off the NFL.

And if the college dudes start doing it this next season, I will do the same thing. I, as a veteran, will not have my flag, country, and president trashed by these immature, racist punks.

None of these teams can stop the Patriots and refs.

The football season ended on November 26, 2017. Of course it also started on June 22, 2017. Unfortunately, the Stampeders lost to the Argonauts. The National Felons League? Never watch it, never cared for it!

I have not watched a single game in at least ten years. I have not watched a single Superbowl in. . . perhaps 20 years.

Based on the last game the refs helped the losers.

Dang. I was able to see only a handful of CFL games this year. As soon as the NFL starts up, televising in the US of the CFL seems to stop. The Stamps and Saskatchewan are my favorite teams, followed by the TiCats. Winnipeg and Montreal can die in a fire. Oh, and congrats to Ottawa for having the least imaginative team name ever.

Our House doesn’t really follow football; but in the past, we always watched the Superbowl, mainly for the commercials - always loved the Budweiser Clydesdales.

Won’t be watching this year, at all. We have no interest in a sport that has been turned into a cheap political-activism opportunity.
