Conservative Republicans support for Sen. Ted Cruz indicates that the conservative movement is brain dead. If Cruz is the best candidate they can find, then conservatives obviously have nothing to offer. Cruz may be the only Republican presidential aspirant who is dumber than Hillary Clinton.

It’s telling that you not only posted this screed, but apparently actually believe it.
Cruz fails to be a nationalist and is not really pro American on the economic front.
Adopting the term “conservative” was a mistake in the first place. What are the conserving? Conservatives don’t even know. From a marketing perspective is a poor choice - it is a term a loser picks as it does not signal positive action. The Republicans should have just called themselves the “Bad Brakes” party because they only seem to slow things down and they cannot steer us in a different direction. The GOP is satisfied by playing gatekeeper and getting paid to stand out of the way of every theft of freedom. They are playing pimp to us whores.
I agree. Trump, under the Republican banner (whether they like it or not) has been the only one to "expand the tent", whereas the GOPe definition of expanding the tent had to do with ordering Rove a new bathrobe.

Cruz and Obama are very similar in style, substance and resume. Ideologically opposed but similar in many other aspects.

Leto please tell us what your definition of conservative is? From what I can tell it means nothing. The GOPe have obliterated any positive meaning it might have once had. I want to be a patriot because patriots fight. For all that I can tell the term “conservative” might be the term used for erectile dysfunction. “Conservatism” just doesn’t work when you really need it and it invites ridicule.
Farage and UKIP are treated as a fringe party. Ever listen to comedy shows on the (state sponsored) BBC? They ceaselessly mock UKIP. Farage and UKIP will never have a chance in the UK.
Yeah, I realize Ted Cruz is nowhere near as brilliant or accomplished as say Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, both of whom have thick resumes and impeccable records.
