Oh, I agree that while I do not believe Cruz is eligible and this may be too technical for today’s voters to understand or care about, that will not stop the Democrats from tying it up in court.
These recent cases have been dodged with various pretenses: lack of standing, arguments based on MEMOS for crying out loud, and general nonsense. The RATS will court shop - can you say Ninth District- get a ruling which will help them and take it all the way to an evenly divided court meaning the 9th ruling will stand.
While the Democratmedia refused to admit that Hussein was not an NBC, it will be in full bray with a Cruz or Rubio. Watergate style (if you are old enough to remember that), constant stories 24/7.

It will be really hard, I would imagine, for Reince of all people to pull the lever for Mrs. Bill in November. No one else in his position will have ever done that before.
I really think Rush believes in conservatism, but he must keep his eye on the money too.

Cruz didn’t send this tweet to people he was negotiating with. He sent it to his most devoted followers. If he wasn’t serious about legalization, he wasn’t serious about security either; they’re given equal mention in his comment.

If not President Cruz would, ironically, owe his office to the fact that Trump has exposed this media for what it is to millions of people who had no clue.

Mr./Mrs. Kathsua, I think whatever ‘link’ you may have intended to post ignores the fact that Ted Cruz’s mother IS a United States citizen. Now, his father was certainly naturalized, but irrelevant to our conversation. Senator Cruz had no need to be naturalized, as he was a citizen upon his birth. THAT is the law, THAT is what has been confirmed by myriads of judges and Constitutional scholars, and while there are those that disagree, their arguments don’t rely on anything purely Constitutional. Those arguments rely on extrapolation, and flimsy, overly creative interpretations that have no unifying principle. Governor LePage, an American citizen, has two daughters who were born in Canada. He publicly stated that both daughters had to be naturalized in order to be American citizens.
Why one rule for LePage’s daughters and a different rule for Cruz?
The issues are not related at all. Business are moving offshore for labor arbitrage not regulations.
You’ve obviously forgotten why Barack Obama had to come up with what many of us consider a forged birth certificate. If he had been born in Kenya he would not have been a U.S. citizen. He also had an American citizen mother and a non-citizen father. However, his mother did not qualify to obtain citizenship for Barack because unlike Cruz’s mother she did not meet the standards in naturalization law to obtain citizenship for a child born outside the U.S.. At the time of Obama’s birth his mother had not lived in the U.S. for the required 5 years after her 14th birthday. Cruz’s mother met this requirement.
