Jeff Roe, Cruz's campaign manager, pulled the exact same dirty trick with another candidate a few years ago.
"An e-mail sent to news media outlets and a "tweet" issued by a fake Twitter account announced that Eckersley had suspended his campaign due to personal reasons.
Eckersley blames his opponent, Republican Billy Long, for sending out the hoax days before the election,
"You know this is dirty politics. This is Jeff Roe style management. That's who Billy's retained. That's who he writes the big checks to," Eckersley tells Missourinet affiliate KTTS.

Wow. That is sleazy. I’m surprised they allow such things in a polling place.

uhh?... this wasn’t a federal election...it was a party caucus.
Aren’t you suppose to campaign for your candidate and against his opponents at the caucus?

Caucuses are designed as dirty tricks playgrounds for party king makers.
The old saw about sausages and laws being made comes to mind.

Dan, are you watching the rallies? Trump fans don't like him attacking Cruz. No real conservative wants to see our best and brightest candidates lock horns with each other.
BTW, did Ted Cruz print those off on his personal home laserprinter? If not, who produced them? If you don't know that Cruz printed them, then you shouldn't say he printed them.
I didn't say he printed them, I said a suppporter of Cruz was passing them around at the caucus.
