Jeff Roe, Cruz's campaign manager, pulled the exact same dirty trick with another candidate a few years ago.
"An e-mail sent to news media outlets and a "tweet" issued by a fake Twitter account announced that Eckersley had suspended his campaign due to personal reasons.
Eckersley blames his opponent, Republican Billy Long, for sending out the hoax days before the election,
"You know this is dirty politics. This is Jeff Roe style management. That's who Billy's retained. That's who he writes the big checks to," Eckersley tells Missourinet affiliate KTTS.

One thing’s for sure...we sure have dubious people running for office.

it was dirty. I thought we wanted a scrappy street fighter and not the loser gentleman anymore.
We want someone who will insults= POWs, those with neurological disorders, will call women bimbos, will compare a teenage crime to child molestation, supports ethanol subsidies, etc.

Reminds me of some episodes of The Apprentice where the candidates were sabotaging the other teams, buying the last bullhorns and such.
I had a thought of Trump installing or using large video screens at his rallies showing past Cruz lies, just like Megyn Kelly was doing at the debates.

At least Trump attacks are direct and in your face, the hypocrisy and back room tactics of Cruz are what I cannot stomach.

That's a great idea! You know, there are probably a lot of people there with their friends or family who might be supporting cruz and that would take advantage of them being a captive audience. Maybe give the others more ammo for defending trump or passing along the truth about Cruz. You're extremely cogent for this time of the morning.

BTW, did Ted Cruz print those off on his personal home laserprinter? If not, who produced them? If you don’t know that Cruz printed them, then you shouldn’t say he printed them.
