That’s a twofer - Cruz can use it against Trump and then Hillary!

I bet the Clintons didn’t come to Ted Cruz’s wedding.

It still seems to me that the general rules for elections should apply: no written material at the polling place. Fourteenth Amendment. But we’ll see. I’ll bet you a quarter that someone writes about this for tomorrow’s press.

Maybe you don’t actually understand this isn’t a ‘polling place’. It’s the meeting of a private club that gets to make its own rules. How do you not understand?

Who picks the party leaders in your location? Where does the Republican Party get its platform proposals where you live? Some state office gives orders? Or is there a party meeting in your neighborhood that you have never attended and so don’t understand that a republican form of government has to start at the real grass roots?

Al Gore just phoned Cruz to congratulate him on tricks he never even thought of.

Coming home a little while ago Mr GG2 heard on the radio that now the Iowa elections commissioner has said Cruz’s antics actually were a violation of their election law. Its a felony. He said they would pursue it if Carson requested it as he is the one with standing.

There is no such thing as "the Iowa elections commissioner". Nice try though.

It still seems to me that the general rules for elections should apply: no written material at the polling place.

Again, this is a caucus - not a primary. Candidate advocacy is allowed inside the polling place.

How Exactly Do The Iowa Caucuses Work?

Fourteenth Amendment

I don't see where Amendment XIV has anything at all to do with this.

The irony here is that when Trump questions Cruz's citizenship or compares Carson to a child molester, all the Trump supporters applaud him for playing hardball. Yet when Cruz's campaign team reiterates a CNN story, Cruz is called a liar and a felon. Looks like Trump isn't as omnipotent as his supporters have led us to believe.

Is there a link on that, or is this just more worthless (and slanderous) hearsay? I have searched for such a story, but came up empty.

I find it comical that the very people who are accusing Cruz of lying have no qualms about doing so themselves.

Not voting places?

Why is this allowed?

Fowl play. So Foghorn Leghorn was hired by Cruz? Anything can happen.

I'ma Cruzer all the way, but it really does feel like his campaign staff is going too far too often lately. Now apparently there is a name to go along with my suspicion. Jeff Roe. Hm.

No excuses, here. Cruz is ultimately responsible for this guy's actions... it just hasn't felt like the Cruz that I thought I "knew" lately, and maybe Mr Jeff is the reason why. Maybe Cruz can convince him to take it down half a notch ASAP. Here's to hoping.

Tweeting a CNN Headline violates election law? Please. How often are you going to repeat this lie? Cite the source, cite the law, or quit embarrassing yourself.

It's also looking like the Rubio camp may have been tweeting this info before the Cruz folks were.

Mea culpa. Sorry for the delay, but I have been soundly informed how wrong my position was.

Have a great day.
