You’re right about ethanol and small motors. My mower has survived (so far) but I’m going to have to shell out for a new line trimmer and leaf blower this spring. Both are leaking like crazy. Pisses me off!
Yeah, it’s screwy. Paul got 22, Romney got the other 6. The “winner” got none.
I’m not even sure why they vote for candidates, as, as far as I understand it, what really matters is who they elect as delegates to go to the county convention to elect delegates to the state convention, who will ultimately vote on how to proportion the State’s delegates in the primary.

His three tweets earlier today, IMHO were not well thought out. Sure, hitting the media is generally a winner with the base. But I think that will ring hollow this time. Going after Iowans for not giving him credit for self funding, well that was stupid.
On the other hand, I think it gives Rubio new life. The oxygen mask dropped on his campaign yesterday. Just in time too. Like Trump, what he does with it will be telling.
I want Trump to win. I want to see him put results where his mouth has gone. Problem is, yesterday he didn't deliver. Someone beat him out. Shown that he is mortal yesterday hurt.

Insignificant reduction of oil occurs compared to cost.
Why not make a car fuel out of camel dung, as it will do the same as ethanol at high cost?
Also, cars perform worse with ethanol as an additive, getting poorer fuel economy and it has a debilitating effect on the engine. Ethanol is disastrous for small engines and outboard motors, and requires extra and expensive equipment to transport and store compared to petroleum gasoline.
Lots of papers out there to support this, but the best are likely to be the Heritage Foundation and the George Marshall Institute. Just get on their websites and search for ethanol.
A much better energy policy could be achieved at much lessened cost by stopping renewable subsidies and the blockage of nuclear and coal for electricity generation.
If ethanol is so wonderful, it shouldn’t have to be subsidized with MY tax dollars.

I thought Cruz won because he acted more religious. 62% of the voters were supposedly evangelical/born-agains. Cruz really emphasized his faith.

This sort of political discourse is starting to affect how evangelicals talk about Trump. A notable exception is Russell Moore. He has consistently presented a line of argument—and not just name calling. His major thesis is that Trump is immoral by Christian standards. This is a fact: from Trump’s owning of strip clubs to his bragging about sleeping around to his Nietzsche-esque notions of power. Moore believes that a leader’s moral behavior will affect his leadership, so he argues that no Christian should support a candidate like Trump. This will not convince all Christians, but at least it’s an argument grounded in the fact of Trump’s moral behavior.

He will be the first that has owned casinos with strip clubs.
To proudly proclaim that he will seek revenge against his personal enemies “as viciously and as violently as you can.”
His wife will be the first first lady that has posed for lesbian porn.
And with that last bullet in mind, do you really think for a minute that Trump opposes gay marriage?

Why Donald Trump Threatens to Trump the Gospel
Donald Trump talked about his Christian faith Saturday, but said he’s never sought forgiveness for his sins.
The event is a gathering sponsored by several socially-conservative Christian organizations, including the Family Research Council, a socially conservative lobbying organization; Liberty University, the world’s largest evangelical university; and the National Organization for Marriage, a group established to prevent the legalization of same-sex marriage.
Trump, who told CNN earlier that he is both anti-abortion and anti-same-sex marriage, said people are surprised to learn about his Christian faith.
“People are so shocked when they find ... out I am Protestant. I am Presbyterian. And I go to church and I love God and I love my church,” he said.
Moderator Frank Luntz asked Trump whether he has ever asked God for forgiveness for his actions.
“I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don’t think so,” he said. “I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture. I don’t.”

That was before he duped the people of Texas into handing him the Senate seat.
