You’re right about ethanol and small motors. My mower has survived (so far) but I’m going to have to shell out for a new line trimmer and leaf blower this spring. Both are leaking like crazy. Pisses me off!

Use real gasoline in your small engines: Pure-Gas.org website

It shows the locations of stations that sell gasoline with no ethanol.

Go to your local small aircraft airport and buy some 100 octane Aviation Gas. It is alcohol free and small engines love it after you re tune them for real gas. Do not run it in your car, it has too much lead in it for catalytic converters to digest. All the loggers around here use it in their chain saws.

On another note, it keeps for over a year just fine even without Stabil in it.
