Haven’t had to resort to that yet. There are several “real gas” stations near me, and several more started selling non-ethanol gas in the last year. I have 4-5 of these stations within about 10 miles.

Maybe it should maybe it shouldn't. There are strategic reasons, like defunding terrorist states, extending non-renewable resources, infrastructure costs, etc., that may justify the subsidies.
