Hmm.. that glass is acting like it's got one of my patented Brain Eraser drinks in it. (Not recommended to anyone. I recommend a cup of tea instead. Trust me on it.)
Coolbeans.

Promise? *rubs back*
I can sled!(But somehow I manage to hit a tree.. every time. Even if it's uphill from where I'm starting off from. [Yes, a small bit of 'soldier exaggeration there. slight])
Bicycling. That's fun, though the biking shorts tend to give a wedgie, no matter what.

God is faithful and merciful even though life deals us some excruciatingly painful blows at times. I read this scripture today and thought of you and your loved ones.
"Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders" Deuteronomy 33:12

"I can't dance, I can't talk, the only thing about me is the way that I walk."
I've got two left feet, and three right arms when I dance.
Though I try.
Swordplay?
To: SpookBrat
thanks, Spooky! Maybe I can use that scripture tomorrow. I probably won't be here tomorrow. Maybe late. We'll see. I hope you will be though! We need you here!

Yeah. Kinda funny.
Was doing a nice light ten mile ride around here, and my bike shorts attacked my bum. Right about the fifth mile mark. Then one of the local birds decided he thought my helmet was a rival.
Gotta love nature. The only place where one can run into a bug the size of one's hand that thinks it can take you on...
Kinda got a few grins from the 'female' set as they drove by. Gotta love summer ];-)

Thanks for all the hard work on this thread.
To: Darksheare

Thank you for coming by. I think it is a fantastic subject. The DAV does such good work for Vets. I hope those who are having difficulty with benefits go to the DAV for assistance.

If it wasn't for humor, life wouldn't be worth it.
And if guys liek me weren't completely inept at social graces like skating and dancing, there wouldn't be enough material to laugh at.

Pray Request
This same boat, 52' Motor Lifeboat Intrepid, is right now towing a 52' sailboat back to Charleston OR.
On board are 3 of my Coast Guard Brothers and 1 Sister.
They are battling 30-40 foot waves and nearing the harbor entrance.
They have been underway since 10 AM PST and went about 15 miles out
to rescue the sailboat and the 2 people onboard.
Due to extreme bar conditions
They will have to stay outside of the bar and attempt a crossing in the morning.
The 2 47' boats will be at the bar entrance when they finally cross.
I personally know all involved (except the man and woman on the sailboat).
This is how some of my Brothers and Sisters that I work with every Thursday
are spending part of this holiday season, saving others lives.
The former CO of the base is the SAR (Search and Rescue) co-ordinator at the
13th CG District headquarters in Seattle.
Please say a prayer for the safety of all involved.
Thank You
