Arrogant? Is it "arrogant" for you to hope and wish DEATH on someone, Hank?
Is it? And you know what I'm talking about.
Is it? And you know what I'm talking about.
Absolutely! If I really wished the death of anyone. Rhetoric seems to be something no one understand in this day of "dumbing down".
Hank
Rd, sort of an inappropriate reference to something we can't read since the moderator removed it. Apparently, Hank must have said something to someone who wanted a war with Iraq. Hank must have said something like, "If you want war so much, then let your kids be the first to die."
I don't know Hank that well, but perhaps he is a pacifist/conscientious objector. I can tell you from 20 years in the military, mostly as an Army chaplain that conscientious objection and pacifism are REAL beliefs that some Christians really do hold.
I don't hold them, but I've been an interviewing Chaplain for those who did. Some who held them held them for opportunistic reasons, but some were real about their pacifist beliefs.
If Hank so desires he can clarify if my reconstruction of his comments are on target, and if they were based on a Christian pacifist position.
See 42, 20, and 15.
(We Calvinists attract some weird religionists to argue with us, don't we?)
