I thoroughly agree with you. You can set a fine example,eg. when attending Mass to refrain from carrying on a conversation with your friends while the priest is delivering the homily. By remaining in your seat untill the priest leaves the altar. Too many times I have observed people trying to race the priest to the doors. Genuflecting when entering the pew; many times they are observed, walking in and sitting down with nary a sign of the cross. You'd think they were waiting for the pop corn and movie to come on..Not realizing the greatest mystery of our faith will shortly take place at the altar and that we all should reverently participate and pay homage to the Lord our God.

I agree. Our good manners in church need to return.

Our priest has called for it and it is returning. He is from Sri Lanka and is on fire with bringing people to Jesus through evangelization! God bless him!
