There was a thread on Monday, sinced pulled (too much text of the Washington Post story was posted), during which Orual sent an e-mail to Cardinal Keeler's office:

(ORUAL) This is the reply to my e-mail to Cardinal Keeler concerning Robert Nugent:

"Father Nugent has no assignment and no ministry in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. He belongs to a religious community in Wisconsin. Bishop Malooly."

(BTW, note how Cardinal Keeler sends auxiliary bishop Malooly out to do his dirty work, the same way Archbishop Pilarczyk is sending auxiliary bishop Moeddel and Fr. Kasserman out to do his dirty work at the upcoming NACDLGM conference in Cincinnati. LOL! : )

As I posted back to Orual, the Archdiocese of Baltimore's response is episcopal dissembling at its best. Robert Nugent belongs to the Salvatorians (Society of the Divine Savior), whose U.S. Chapter House is in Wisconsin:

The point is that even "order" priests are subject to the bishop in whose jurisdiction they actually live, which in Robert Nugent's case is Cardinal Keeler. That's an old trick. Join a religious order whose provincial headquarters is in another diocese.
Set up shop in a religious house elsewhere. Who in Wisconsin is going to bother flying down to Maryland to rein in a psycho homo activist? Nugent, of course, is publicly representing himself as a Catholic priest while residing within the Archd of B-more. Playing games like this is really juvenile. If Nugent wants to be a homo why doesn't he just get a job as a waiter in South Beach? You can't be a homo AND a Catholic priest. Duh! It's that simple.

The Archdiodese of Baltimore has its very own Gay and Lesbian Ministry operating out of St. Bernadette Parish (Severn, Maryland), under the spiritual direction of Fr. Nick Cieri. Perhaps the most interesting addition to our database of perversion is their web page of Gay Friendly Parishes. What makes this link so valuable is that you have merely to know where the parishes are that operate "gay ministries" to know what bishops are complicit in the secular "gay" campaign to subvert Catholic moral teaching from within. The number of listings is incredible. In fact, based on this page alone, one might well consider Cardinal Keeler to be acting as a one-man NACDGLM.

From the New Ways Ministry site:History: New Ways Ministry was founded in 1977 by Sister Jeannine Gramick, SSND and Father Robert Nugent, SDS and incorporated as a non-profit, tax-exempt organization in the state Maryland in 1978. The organization consists of a Board of Directors, an Advisory Board, professional program staff and volunteers.

Sounds like they think they ARE operating a Catholic "ministry" in Baltimore, Maryland. Maybe Keeler's office needs to check their files!

It's clear from that site (The Gay and Lesbian Ministry based out of St. Bernadette's under Fr. Nick Cieri in Severn, Maryland) that this is all about the radical homosexualization of the Catholic Church. They are using that gay symbol (the rainbow flag) on the site. This is totally inappropriate. It must be a terrible outrage for sincere Catholics in the parish that these creeps are shoving this stuff down their throats. "Father" Nick (by the way) is apparently a former Maryknoller. Surprise, surprise. What a disgusting outrage. Keeler ought to ashamed of himself that he allows this abuse of a whole parish. I mean the whole parish site is basically devoted to this pro-homosexual crusade. Unbelievable.

I checked your link, eastsider, just to see what I would find for Massachusetts -- not actually as bad as I would have expected, but bad enough:

Boston College - Boston

Jesuit Urban Center/Church of the Immaculate Conception - Boston

Paulist Center - Boston

St. Peter the Apostle - Provincetown

Immaculate Conception - Stoughton

Holy Cross College - Worcester

The Jesuits seem to be well represented (BC and Jesuit Center). The Paulist Center has been way left for about 40 years at least (while the Paulist bookstore that used to be near it, but run by the nuns, was fairly orthodox at least as late as the 70s). A Provincetown parish that wasn't gay-friendly wouldn't have much of a congregation. Stoughton I know nothing about, and I'm not sure who staffs HC.

I suppose it's encouraging that not every Catholic college made the list (only the big ones).
